    Great apartment close to Las Ramblas, walkable everywhere

    The location - close proximity to several bakeries, restaurants, very laid back feel, non-busy-hustle bustle neighborhood. So lovely, definitely makes you feel you could like in Barcelona like a local.The amenities were good - they gave 2 detergent tablets for their washer/dryer- the dryer works well and actually dries the clothes. We've used other models where the unit doesn't dry the clothes well; this one dries the clothes completely. We used "mixed" for the washer mode (3 o'clock on the dial) and secador light (10 o' clock on the dial) for drying. We had to figure that one out as it's in spanish. The king bed was comfortable. The sofa bed was a sofa bed, you could feel the springs and the bar; wish that they could upgrade that to an actual mattress/futon that's more comfortable. The extra bed was nice to have. The storage for clothing and luggage was great. The apartment was good for 4 people. It was so nice to have the table for 4 for us to gather and have some snacks or meals together.They should provide a roll of paper towels next time.Definitely recommend, although value is 4/5. Also Spain charges a big accommodation tax. We ended up paying almost $200 USD in taxes.

    Spent 2 nights here, very happy with our stay. We took the aerobus from the Airport and stopped at gran via Borrel and walk 10 minutes to the hotel. The person at the reception was very welcoming. Gave us tons of information regarding the bus and how to get to the tourist area. We pretty much walked everywhere except we took the bus to go to park Guell. You take bus H10 right in front of the hotel and stop at pg Garcia and then take bus 24 to Parc Guell, approx 40 minutes ride including the bus change. The apartment was comfortable, clean and well equiped. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Plenty of towels, shampoo, soap and they make the room in the morning which was appreciated. Would recommend this hotel if you are staying in Barcelona. Approx 20-30 minutes walk to everything.

    Cute apartment, but unfortunately had noisy neighbors

    We just finished a 4 night stay at up suites. The location is in a quiet neighborhood. There are also so many small wonderful restaurants in the vicinity. Transportation is easy to reach from the hotel. The apartment size was spacious. The washer and dryer worked well for us. Our negative was the amount of noise from neighbors above and below us. The walls seem very thin. We had some people up at 1:30 to 3:30 AM. And we also had screaming kids all afternoon into the late evening. We were up two of the four nights. We lost 2 nights of sleep due to the noise. We did tell management and they had said they talked to the one group.

    GREAT stay at Up Suites BCN

    We spent almost two weeks at Up Suites BCN. It was better than an AirBnB and better than a hotel. Why? Because it had everything you need for an extended stay. We had a one bedroom apartment with a kitchen, living room, dining area so you could cook if you wanted. There's maid service every day, and a washer! The staff at the reception desk are exceptional. Zohaib went out of his way to answer all our questions, recommend restaurants and grocery stores in the area, and suggest tours/destinations. They even scheduled a 3:45 am taxi for us to get to the airport. I highly recommend Up Suites BCN!

    Fantastic stay

    The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It’s in a good location - about 15 minute walk from la ramblas but it has a lot of local bars and restaurants in close vicinity. Zohaib was very helpful letting us check in early and nothing was too much trouble. We would certainly stay again.
