  Do not stay here, the apartment does not have hot water Its a Scam

  We rented this apartment for 6 adults. On arrival we failed to check hot water - never make that mistake. It was a Saturday evening. Sunday morning we tried to shower - no hot water - we emailed and got a response. We were gone for the day and returned and yes there was hot water. Monday morning we tried to shower, the water was turned off. We emailed again and were told it was scheduled maintenance and would be completed by the end of the day. We were out touring for the day, returned, and while the water was back, there was still no hot water. We emailed and called the emergency number. We were told that work would be completed by the next day via email. The emergency services promised to send someone out in the morning and call to confirm. That call never came. We informed the apartment that we were leaving on Wednesday at 11 am, unless there was hot water. There was not, so we booked three hotel rooms. The email stated that they were fixing the water; I demanded the ability to prove that the hot water was working before returning to the apartment. We were told that crews were working, but we were never informed that the hot water had been restored. On Friday evening, I emailed again, asking for direct contact, and was told that email was the only way. We had called The Collection and never received a return call. We requested a refund and were offered 25% for the three days we were affected. The company says since we had access to the apartment until Saturday, they will not compensate us. I have saved all the email communication. We talked to others in the building who also had no hot water. This company never returns calls - they should not be used at any point.

  NIGHTMARE apartment AVOID ALL COSTS!

  If I could rate 0/5 I would , do NOT trust the photos you see, the apartment is run down, stains on walls, floors separation (my children tripped over the huge gaps) furniture worn, bathrooms smell like mold no ventilation , repairs are made with DUCT TAPE! NO air conditioning!! When photos show AC!MOLD in bathroomsWe ended up not staying a night and leaving.Photos below

  Avoid at all cost! Dirty, Old, faulty apartment with a management that is unwilling to help. Do not trust the photos from management. I have posted some updated ones. We booked through Marriott home and villas so we were not given the name of the apartments, only the address so reviews were hard to find. We arrived at check in time of 5pm on a Friday to find the apartment dirty and air conditioning not working in the middle of summer. It was so hot that my baby’s eczema started to flare up. We contacted the vale apartment customer service line to voice our concerns of all the problems in the apartment and also ask for the baby cot that they were supposed to provide but none of these were addressed! They could not find any maintenance person to come ( was still not fixed 3 days later on Monday as per their email response) no cot was provided as of 8.30 pm even though they said one would be delivered immediately at 5pm.Problems with vale apartment 3.1: 1. Air conditioning not working2. No hot water for shower3. Dirty floors 4. Hair on bedsheets and floorIt was disgusting and unlivable and we left without staying a night. We asked for a full refund but they are not willing to provide one and are continuing to advertise this apartment as a livable spot. Do not book with them. Horrendous start to the holiday and we had to move our party of 9 to a hotel instead. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

  We just LOVED this apartment. We were three friends on vacation and each one had her own room and bathroom. I loved it so much so that I was tempted to move to Barcelona at that same area. The apartment was spacious, clean, warming. Stores and restaurants nearby plus walking distance to many attractions. Definitely will try to stay there on our next trip to Barcelona. I recommend it completely.

  Apartment was burglarized on day cleaner was there. No cleaning that we could see. They took all electronics and a back pack. We had one trash bag for the two weeks, no sheet or towel change, dryer broken, many outlets don’t work, safe broken.
