35 single rooms and 36 double rooms are located on 9 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day.     I would rate this hotel as a 3* only, certainly does not live up to a 4*. On the plus side, very clean and reception staff are charming. The room we stayed in had a flickering bathroom light and a patio door handle which looked ready to fall off, both were immediately reported to receptionist who kindly removed flickering lightbulb and said maintenance would sort the handle 'tomorrow', neither issues were sorted in the 3 days we stayed. Breakfast was OK but repetitive, no variation. In the national electricity breakdown there was NO emergency lighting on the staircases at all. A torch was reluctantly supplied by reception. Despite travelling as a party of 4 we were originally allocated rooms 2 floors apart, us in one and the grandaughters 2 floors away. Unacceptable.All in all, very unimpressive hotel.

    We came as a family group of adults and had 2 rooms but upon check in were informed they'd be on different floors despite asking for adjacent rooms on booking. Eventually they sorted 304 & 308 on same floor. Despite both rooms being the same price, one was much better than the other, with balcony & larger wardrobe with chairs and table. 308 had no drawers or even shelves, chairs or space to leave suitcases. Very little storage space meaning unpacking was largely impossible. Hairdryers in the rooms need replacing as cut out when hot & smell of burning.There is no real chance of socialising there in an evening as there is no bar.The outside roof terrace was a big disappointment- the 2 loungers looked really old and manky.On the plus side breakfast was good BUT it's exactly the same every day and 'hot food' is not even remotely warm in the 'warmer'.

    Hotel is tired and rather depressing as well as being expensive for what it is My room classed as “Superior double with terrace “ was not at all superior !Rather cramped , minimum sized double bed ,2 tea bags , 1 sachet instant coffee , no milk ,no free water Dusty surfaces and colour scheme of brown and grey throughout I paid 209 euros for this privilege without breakfast Very disappointing Didn’t risk breakfast so only saw staff at reception who were charming except for the manager who although present made it clear he was too important to engage with customers

    The location of a hotel is good. It's just one street behind the main upscale area. I felt safe in the area. Lots of pubs, restaurants and cafes are in the same area at a walking distance. The room size was quite decent. Bathrooms were clean and tidy up. Staff at the reception were polite. I was particularly impressed by the choice of PILLOWS ( there were many options of Pillows to choose from). I used their long and hard pillow, which was comfy

    BEWARE - THEIVES OPERATING WITHIN

    BEWARE.Out of a group of friends - 2/5 rooms had money stolen on our first night. Reception was not helpful at all and just fobbed us off telling us to go to the police. The rooms had not been broken into therefore an inside job. Safe was not working on arrival - my fault we were on a schedule so I left my money in the wardrobe hidden and my things were ruffled up and my money had gone. My friend's money was in his room on the side. Very silly of us and a lesson learnt.Due to this, I would not recommend this hotel - they can’t be trusted and thieves are working within!It is not a 4 star - its more of a 2 star.
