Could do Better
05 Oct 2026
Good hotel needing a refurb enjoyed our holiday but self catering is not well catered for lack of utensils only one ring working on hub .Had to remind them to clean and change beds after 9 days . Also they allow three bus loads of teens to holiday there very loud rude and up at all hours of the night .I never seen any adult supervision left to do what ever they wanted . And on a arrival rude male member of staff who told me nothing about the amenities of the hotel or cleaning routine or to show us on a map or diagram where our apartment was just a point with the hand . I observed the female members of staff checking people in and out what a difference very happy to help using a map and helping guests to find there apartments I understand there is or might be a language barrier but manners are universal.

Nearly 5 stars ....
22 Sept 2026
Returned home late last night .. my honest review.Booked last minute with Jet2Holiday. Self catering for less than £800 for 7 nights.Good flight transfer allocated an apartment in the main block ( I had emailed the hotel requesting this).Clean basic apartment overlooking the front of the hotel .Beds comfy , English TV channels , clean towels / bedding and a well equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook .2 small gripes - no safe in the room and non available in reception but we managed to hide our valuables. Our room was only cleaned once the whole week despite putting the sticker on the door . The pool area was good always got a sunbed hired a mat from the charity shop opposite.Pool good but a little cold. Amazing restaurants/ bars in Albir/ Altea .Friendly staff in all areas will definitely return. Sun Confort, Director General at Hotel Albir Garden Resort, responded to this review Dear 128janem,Thank you for sharing your feedback! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay, found the apartment comfortable and appreciated the friendliness of our team. It is also lovely to know that you made the most of the pool area and the beautiful surroundings of Albir and Altea.Regarding the safety deposit boxes, these are available for guests in the main building, on the ground floor. We are pleased to hear that you would choose to stay with us again and look forward to welcoming you back to Albir Garden!Best regards,Sien - Guest Experience
