  Good location . No atmosphere as no lounge bar in hotel had to use cafe Paris next door. Room good but floor not cleaned once only swiffed. Food was dreadful.   Geeat Hotel - but stay away from the food!

  In terms of location it was very central, close to the beach, strip and the oldtown. All within a 10 minute walk. A good friendly atmosphere, the recption staff were very helpful, as well as the cleaning staff. The rooms were big, modern and very clean. Excellent sea view. The noise was minimal so suited us and the beds were very comfortable. The pool area was good as well.However the big let down was the standrad of food. I was shocked how bad it was. Meat was just pure bone, and the Moussaka was pure slop. Evening meals consisted of just chips and an ice cream. So we switched to lunch, that was a bit better, until I found a "foreign object" in my salad. Breakfast wasn't much better. We gave up eating there for the last 3 days, even though we had half board. Of all the hotels I have stayed in Europe, I have had to say the food here was the worse I ever experienced. And I'm not a fussy eater. Shame as it lets the hotel down. If you have booked, hotel wise its great - but eat out! We respect that food is a very personal matter and that not every dish will suit every guest’s taste, but we must admit that we are surprised by such a strongly negative assessment of our entire food service.Our buffet offers a varied selection of dishes, with different options available at each service, including meat, fish, vegetables, salads, hot dishes, desserts and freshly prepared items. Therefore, describing the evening meals as consisting only of “chips and ice cream” does not accurately reflect the range normally available to our guests.Regarding the “foreign object” you mention finding in your salad, this is something we take very seriously. We regret that this was not brought directly to the attention of our restaurant team or management at the time, as it would have allowed us to investigate the matter immediately and take the appropriate action.We are sorry that you ultimately chose not to use your half-board service during the final days of your stay.   Location was excellent and close to were we all wanted to be. Beech and English strip.
