  Do not stay unless you don’t mind walking to get keys and return them

  Location - steep hill but close to beach and bars Atmosphere - quiet and relaxing considering how close are to a local bar, had construction workers from Monday to Thursday doing up another apartment from 8am till 3pm Rooms - dated but clean on arrival, mixed review on beds husband hated them I found it comfortable. Balcony was more like a conservatory no air con but did supply us with two fans and heaters with some beach deck chairs and parasols which I made use of. Kitchen area didn’t use other than the fridge did have a microwave electric hob in plates and cutlery old fashioned tea pot.Amenities - no maid service so you have to use the towels all week unless you go to the laundrette and wash them which is roughly 5 minutes walk from the apartment. 2 x rolls of toilet paper never topped up had to buy our own whilst there no running hot water as boiler not plugged in. To collect keys for apartment it were a ten minute walk to fetch them from a different building and then return back to apartment should have been a red flag 🚩 €200 deposit on returning keys nowhere on site to drop them off again another 10 minute walk to drop them. No reception staff at the apartment good luck with shuttle transfer as it drops you off round the corner at a different apartment building.We have stayed in 3 star self catering accommodations before and this is not a 3 star location, we used a third party booking site which stated it had a bar it doesn’t unless you classify the next building as it, satellite television only played music channels no cafe on site. Can use the pool area there but need to use your key to get in and out could not use the safe as no key for it. Will not be staying again

  Vile smelly and disgusting

  Vile, stale smoke smell dirty apartments, filthy bathrooms, very dated and beds as hard as stoneMassive palaver to collect the keys then walk 10 minutes to get back to the apartment otherwise you can’t get in. Sockets didn’t work to charge phone no Wi-Fi. No Aircon. I would rather stay in Battersea dogs home for the night. The smell of steel smoke and sticky walls is absolutely disgusting. We’ve rebooked with some more else now we’re here in Benidorm so let’s make the best of this holiday.

  Great apartment for price and location.. dated and no air con .. very safe and good pool

  This apartment was our choice for a family holiday due to it being in a great location and really cheap compared to other places around. I didn’t realise in this day and age there would be no a/c and only one fan.. This was the only down side to the apartment for us. I found it was clean, it smelt fine and felt very safe although it was dated. There was no loud noises and it is a great location for beach and bars.I only read the reviews when we arrive and this is the first review I have written for accommodation. My tip would be if you was coming with a family we should have got off the transfer and went the accommodation first where I could have left the kids with my partner and went off to find the keys (with passports to be photocopied) because the transfer drops you off 3 mins walk away. The keys then for us we had to collect at 1pm from an estate agent on beach I am going to try and attach a pic of this .. it’s 0.3 miles away. I think the easiest way to find it is to head the beach and turn right then walk towards the black super market it’s then next door to that. There is one fan in the room and was 30 degrees when we was here so we went the shop by the silver dollar where you can hire a fan for €7 for 5 days which for us was vital. I also froze the hang towels and put them over us frozen going to bed.

  Place is a disgrace!! Badly managed! Rooms are like shacks! The managers are disrespectful if you loose your key they don’t give you another they refuse to speak to you say “no English” so rude! Was locked out for a full night with no where go because they do not have 24 hour service!! Avoid at all cost! Then threaten to phone police won’t give deposit back either over a key! Disgrace robbing people blind!!!

  Where do I start, the entrance to the apts looked very promising & a good location to the beach & strip but that's the only positives I can give.ARRIVAL- After being dropped off we were told we had to drag our cases up hill to another 2 streets where we would find the Europa Apts, when we arrived entrance was locked and a Spanish man came out from the ground floor flat, who had no idea where we were to collect our keys, it turned out he was the caretaker, there was a notice on the door but with no instructions on how to collect the keys, luckily for us an English man came out and helped us, we had to walk another 10 mins up hill to another hotel to collect our keys.DEPOSIT- I was led to believe that it was 150e deposit, we had to pay 200eAPPARTMENT- Described as a 3 star, I would give it a 1 star. Musty old smell when we walked in, out dated and filthy, cigarette burns in curtains and sofa, apt was very spacious but very out dated. Advertised with a balcony, its not a balcony its an extension of the living area, there was a plug in heater as it got cold in the evening, wouldn't recommend staying during peak season with no aircon, 1 small mirror in the bathroom, no other mirrors which was a pain as there were 2 of us staying and had to take in turns using the mirror to get ready.BEDROOM- The headboards where not screwed to wall so they rattled against the wall every time you moved in your bed, the beds were camp beds which were badly stains with very hard mattresses, the bedding had seen better days. Bathroom towels were awful fit for the bin with holes and stains.During my stay there were no cleaners and no fresh towels.RETURN OF KEYS- had to return our keys to an office down at the beach, which meant a trek of leaving the apartment and dragging our suitcases for an approximate 20 minute walk at 6.30AM in the morning.  If that wasn’t bad enough we then had another further 10 minute walk to be collected from a hotel that we had only been informed of the night before that there was a change.I would not recommend staying at these apartments.
