Location

The hotel is located in the new town in Benidorm, 30 minutes’ walking distance from the tourist centre, and 800 m from Levante Beach. In front of the hotel guests will find public transport links. Nearby, guests will find a wide array of restaurants, bars and shops. They will also find a night entertainment area with nightclubs and bars just a few metres from the hotel.

Facility

394 non-smoking rooms are located on 25 storeys and can be reached by 7 lifts. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax on the balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a mini fridge included among the standard features. Other amenities available include an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. The wide range of activities offered at the hotel ensures that there is something new to do every day, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, bocce, crazy golf and archery. With snorkelling, diving, water aerobics and aquafit available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. The hotel offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis and darts or, for a fee, billiards. There is a wellness area with a spa and hydrotherapy treatments and, for an additional fee, a sauna and massage treatments. Leisure facilities include a kids' club, live music and a dance club.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant (with high chairs), a café and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all-inclusive. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Awful food, worst we’ve ever had in Spain or anywhere else.Entertainment, what entertainment seriously very poor.Holiday was not cheap, do your self a favour and give this place a very wide berth.Punta del Rey in Tenerife is half the price and 100% better.Just being honest holidays are precious and deserve better.     AC not working

    The air conditioning system does not work properly. The hotel staff kept insisting that the AC only works when the outside temperature increases, which was very disappointing and uncomfortable.I was staying with my child, who has asthma, and because the room was too warm, we had to keep the window open. Unfortunately, cigarette smoke from outside kept coming into the room, causing my child to cough throughout the night. She also had a fever, and the hot room made the situation much worse.The ventilation in the room was also very poor. Every time we returned to the room after being outside, there was a bad smell trapped inside. Overall, it was a very unpleasant and unhealthy experience for my family.     Good location, but major problems ruined the stay

    Medplaya Hotel Flamingo Oasis is in a good location,with Lidl just 2 minutes away, the beach around a 15-minute walk, and lots of restaurants and bars nearby,The food had plenty of choice, especially breakfast with British and continental options, although fish choices were limited at lunch and dinner and the food presentation could have been much better. One man at reception with a beard and mark on his chin was extremely polite. The cleaner on the 19th floor was lovely and very helpful.Unfortunately, there were too many negatives for us to return. The lifts were a nightmare with very long waiting times, the pool closed too early at 5pm🤦‍♀️there was no entertainment around the pool, and the indoor pool was closed even though we visited in May. The air conditioning did not work, only the fan, and staff said it was “not the season” for air con. Most bar staff and some reception staff were miserable and unwelcoming. Paying £3.50 daily for the safe and £2.50 from the machine for a small bottled water at an all-inclusive hotel felt ridiculous, housekeeping standards could be better as dust was noticeable and cups were not changed for 3 days.To make things worse, I got food poisoning on my last evening Sadly, because of this experience, I would not return, although I absolutely loved Benidorm itself.
