  great place to stay.where there is lots of places to eat.on the doorstep.pubs close at hand to.its a good base to stay,where you are close to everywhere.the gardens here are fantastic,with a lovely swimming pool.we stayed on the 25thfloor,with fantastic views,sunsets are great to.the agent we use is Beninter,which the stay are very very helpfull.been booking with them for years.

  Disappointed family holiday in Benidorm

  I have been going to the gemelos apartments for several years now and have never had such a bad experience with my family holiday, first we where put into an upgraded apartment block that we did not want, to then be told that we could not use the pool the weather was very good and we had 7 children with us who were very disappointed, we were forced to use neighbouring hotels pools so the children could have some fun. We were constantly harassed by residents in the blocks shouting at the children not to go near the pool, when we were told that they were open until 31st October so if anyone is thinking of booking a family holiday in October avoid the gemelos 2 and gemelos 20 apartments in Benidorm and make sure BENINTER make it clear what facilities are on offer before you book with them

  I have stayed in these apartments many times and have always found them very acceptable. Location is good smack bang in the middle between the Old Town and the New Town. Also it is only a few yard walk from the bus stop in Avienda Europa where you get the public bus to and from the airport, and about 500m from the beach Keys are collected from the Beninter office, during office hours, which is at street level between both apartment blocks. outside of office hours keys are collected from Hotel Marina, which is nly a short walk away, approx. 5 mins. Apartments are spacious, with excellent air con in all apartments. Apartments all have a fully functioning kitchenette complete with oven, hob, microwave, grill, all the pots and pans you may want along with cutlery, plates cups etc. A really useful thing especially for those wanting to travel light or with kids is there is a washing machine in all apartments and an iron, ironing board and clothes horse. Towels provided. Rooms are only serviced with towel change and ben linen change every 7 days, buy your own toilet roll. There is no reception as these are residential apartments but as I said the office is only next door and there is a 24 hr emergency tel number which you can get off the office if you wish. The pool has no sun loungers and you have to just lie on the grass, or alternatively you can rent or buy a lounger, but we find lying on the grass on a towel is suffice. The pool isn't massive but its not usually very busy so there's enough room for a swim or to mess about with the kids. There's an adjacent kids splash pool which is only about 12 inches deep for younger kids and toddlers. A cautionary note on the pool, lilos and inflatables are not allowed in the pool, and there is one particular commissionaire who is a bit of a jobsworth and will enforce this rule rigorously, so be warned, "Mr Grumpy" our kids nicknamed him. In a 1 bedroom apartment there is 1 bathroom and there are 2 bathrooms in the 2 bedroom apartments. There are 2 single beds in each bedroom and a pull out bed settee for another 2 persons in the living area, so a 1 bed apartment sleeps 4 and 2 bedroom apartment sleeps 6 people. The beds are the only thing that lets these apartments down slightly as the mattresses are not the most comfortable in fact they are decidedly uncomfortable and obviously cost is the main consideration rather than comfort. THen again I'm a bit discerning when it comes to mattresses in hotels as I like a good comfortable nights sleep. Whilst they are OK and acceptable they could be better. Overall a good base in Benidorm, clean, good facilities and ideal location.

  I like to start with a positive. The rooms are of a reasonable size and fairly well appointed. We stayed on the 25th floor and had a lovely view of the beach.Please be aware you are staying in a residential building with families and elderly people. The rooms are not serviced. You need to make your own bed and clean up after yourself. There is no concierge. In fact no help at all in the building. The pool is very quiet and there are firmly enforced noise restrictions.It is offered as a holiday apartment but when you arrive you are given a list of rules and "surprised" with a €200.00 security deposit.Its not a bad place to stay just be aware of what you are getting into.

  I stayed at Gemelos 20 with a friend in November 2017 for 2 weeks. I actually booked Gemelos 2 but picked keys up at Beninter Holiday Apartments Office and was allocated here. Having read reviews of Gemelos 2, I think we were fortunate as Gemelos 20 is a newer block. Gated (locked) so very secure. Entrance, foyer, grounds, pool are very clean. No sun lounges though but we didn't use the pool. We stayed in 1C so only had view of the pool/gardens, which are very nice. The apartment itself is a good size and has everything you need including washing machine, iron/board, fridge freezer, toaster, microwave etc and safe to hire. Didn't need air con so can't comment on that. Could only get BBC2 on TV but only wanted music really so that was fine. Large balcony with table/chairs and clothes airer. Nice bathroom with shower over bath but there were no plugs for bath or sink. I suspect they've been removed as it looked as if there may have been a flood previously (bottom of door frames showed rot). All in all we were very happy with everything and I would definitely recommend/stay again. We had no noise. I think some are residents in this building as many had dogs but we didn't hear them either.
