  Perfect Location.

  Got home two days ago from a 4 day stay.The location is perfect & could not be any better for quick access to the beach,old town,tapas alley etc ,very close to the main taxi rank.10 minute walk to the tram station.The rooms are basic but clean.Never had an issue with noise outside the hotel or inside,we slept like logs.Tried on 3 evenings to have a drink in the hotel bar before bed,on each occasion we left after about a 5 minute wait as whoever was working the late shift was nowhere to be seen.Reception staff are helpful & polite.Would we book again,probably but ,only if we couldn’t find somewhere in a similar location that had a pool.Value for money & location it would be hard to be beaten.

  Just been here on a lads weekend, found this hotel to be very basic but very clean, the staff were friendly but the real winner here is its location, 1 minute walk to busy bars and cafes and 2 minutes walk to the beach and the beach front bars, ideal for a lads or a girls trip but probably not for families, I will book this hotel again next time I am back in Benidorm with the lads

  I hate to give such a low rating but i have to say there are a couple of issues i cant forgive .We booked a room for a couple for five nights but found the bed was two singles pushed together not fixed in anyway if you wanted to cuddle up or anything the beds would part even single bed sheets it was absolutely disgusting .i had to buy some phone lanyards for 4 euros so i could tie the legs together .I asked to be moved to a room with a double bed the reception lady tried to help . i was told there was one room available we checked out the room and it was awful small dated and no view just walls with air-cons on ,really bad like being in a prison i,hastened to say we didn't take it .Our next problem was the shower which was really good BUT the shower tray design is beyond intelligence it is flat and no fall so all the water just leaves the shower and floods the bathroom made worse because the drain is too slow .The air con is good but the numbers light up too bright we found it really annoying its like having a really bright led touch shone in your face all night .the tv was terrible you couldn’t get Netflix or anything on it even though it was supposedly a smart tv ,and the wifi was rubbish it keeps stopping and you have to keep refreshing it .Anyhow if these things where improved i would say cheap is what you get but the location is great and we didn't find it too noisy either we were on the third floor unfortunately we didn't have a balcony which was a mistake as drying stuff was difficult.The Spanish desk lady when we left was very helpful indeed as we needed help with our pick up info thanks to her we got our shuttle to the airport ok.The verdict is it could be great for very little effort such a shame i also have add ive never had to pay to have towels replaced i believe this was classed as an extra just the same if you wanted an iron or a kettle etc .

  We stayed on 4 th floor an it stunk of damp mould on skirting boards the room had just 2 single beds and aTV init no kettle etc if u wanted these it was 20 euro the only thing that was good in the room was the air con I wouldn't stay in this hotel again

  We stayed at the Hotel Benidorm City Olympia this week (September 2026)We had a good stay. The Location is great.It was clean.The staff we dealt with were very helpful and polite.Seems to have been recently decoratedBeds were comfortable.Good Wi-FiThe room was quiet … (front of hotel, 5th floor)The hotel offers an upgrade balcony room for 20 euros a day … The best advice I can give it to upgrade if you can afford it.We were given room 307 (standard room) … We went to our room, the room was fine but it was quite a small room with a window that faces another window across the thin street. …… We decided to go straight back down to the reception and see if we could still upgrade, and the man behind the desk said it was ok, and gave us room 502 … This was a lot better, and well worth the upgrade cost.The new room was 502, and I suspect it is the best room in the hotel.Twice as bigHad a sofaHad a big TV (not many channels)Had a large terrace/balcony Great view, being on the top floor … Over the roofs of old town and the mountain behind.…………………The only downside we could find were …. Standard rooms are very basic. Our room was good, but the quality of the finish was lacking (but well above what we were expecting for the price) …… There is no fridge (this was a big downside for us) …. There is no safe in the room, you can rent lock box, but it is in a locked room that you have to get the receptionist to unlock the door so you can get to the lock box, so storing electronics or money is a hassle.Sure, there are better hotels in the old town, but for the money, I very much doubt this place can be beaten. …. Especially if you have our room.
