    Beachfront hotel. Staff amazing and proud of their establishment. All you hear from your room is the sound of the ocean. Smaller hotel definitely makes a difference for a nice quiet holiday with amazing views from room and rooftop bar. Breakfast fantastic can WhatsApp to order from the restaurant so had dinner on the beach can also book Strat for evening dinner if you wish. This hotel is such a find for a beach holiday will definitely be going back. 10/10

    Thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at Hotel La Cala. Our first time visiting Finestrat and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. The hotel is literally on the beach and close to bars and restaurants without being too loud. Our room was comfortable and clean with everything we needed- powerful shower, fridge to keep water (and wine) chilled, pay per day safe. Reception team were friendly and very helpful- ordering taxis etc. Breakfast was not the regular buffet but ordered in advance and delivered to your table plated. I enjoyed both the healthy (fresh fruit and yogurt) and the continental (extra cheese, no ham) From the hotel you can walk to other areas or use the local bus service - 2 euros got you most places. Recommend Lucianno la taverna (Italian) and The Asian Garden (Chinese) both close to the hotel.     Lovely hotel and restaurant in a fabulous location by the sea.

    Fabulous location and service. This hotel is literally on the sea front just a metre or two from the beach. We stayed in a front facing sea view room and loved listening to the waves morning and evening. The staff are incredibly helpful, polite and welcoming and cannot do enough for you.The Strat restaurant is downstairs and Claire is a Masterchef winner - fab to have breakfast prepared here with the same amazing sea view, and also take away available to eat in your own balcony which we took advantage of - very reasonable price too. You are able to hire chairs for the beach if you wish tol.The bars and restaurants around the hotel are great, good choice and close at decent times so noise is minimal. A lovely Spanish resort with Benidorm a 45 minute walk away or 10 mins on the bus if you want it livelier.     Just back from a ten day stay at this hotel in La Cala. Most reviewers comment on the wonderful location right on the beach and the friendly, helpful hotel staff - and they are absolutely rightA warm welcome from reception when we arrived continued every day and my endless questions about transport, nearby resorts etc etc were always answered with a smileBreakfast with a sea view was made all the better by the friendly people in the restaurant and kitchenOur room was kept spotless throughout our stay - thank youWe didn't want to leave !!!!!
