  Great hotel, would stay again!

  We needed somewhere for a one night stop as we passed through Benidorm. We didnt want to be super central and this suited us perfectly. This hotel has spacious rooms, great views, friendly staff, decent WiFi, parking and comfy beds. We opted to include dinner and breakfast and the simple but tasty and plentiful self serve options were worth the money. Would deffo recommend. Pool looked great too but we arrived late and had to be up and out early.   The one star was for the exit doorArrived after a 12 hour journey to be told our room had been cancelled Reception was completely dismissive to the point of rudeness blaming our holiday group Refused to help or reassure us both in our 70s that we would not be sleeping on the streets that night Lovholidays were in uncontactable we had to phone our daughter in the uk to get it sorted No apology, The food was beyond disgusting, stone cold even at 8amAt one point the drink machine was broken and we couldn’t even get a drink of water Staff were rude and gossiped amongst themselves, Even when we greeted them in the morning there was no response No bowls for cereal, I had to eat from a cupAll the food was tasteless, pancakes were rock hardThis is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in throughout my 70 yearsI shall be contacting the Spanish tourist board Atención Clientes, Marketing at La Estacion Hotel, responded to this review Hello, Explorer816168:Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us.   Very clean staff very friendly and honest I stayed for two weeks. B&B Rooms are clean. With good beds. Quality linenSoft towels Free parking is a great value as other places charge. 16-20€ per day. For parking. Breakfast is typical Spanish. With mediocre quality ingredients Not worth the 12€ charge. ( better value out in Benidorm ) Evening meal again is typical Spanish. With a £17€ cover charge that doesn’t include any drink A bottled water is 3€. Rather expensive if your here ten days. It is not a party hotel so most guests are. Quiet after 22.00hrs Any problems are addressed without any drama. I found the sink plug was too large for the waste. So would not hold any water. It was replaced with in an hour. Fridge in room was mouldy. A new fridge was fitted again. Within the hour. I am retired. Pensioner. I misplaced my wallet. When I checked out. It was found by the lady. Cleaner. And handed in to reception It’s contents intact with about 500€ This was kept safe for me until my return two weeks later. A very nice hotel for a winter stay. In the sunshine. Away from UK wet cold weather Buss and tram is close to get you around. The area. Being out of the town. It is quiet at night The sauna is a very nice extra. The pool being out door.   Don’t let the location put you off

  Don’t be put off by the location a nice hotel for a good price. Just back from my 3rd stay, this time as a group of 8 lads but I had also visited with my wife. Booked again with my wife for Dec.Good price, really friendly staff and really big clean rooms.So here is the thing to understand about the location. It’s about a mile from anywhere (1 straight man road) but that’s a good thing as it’s dead quiet. Walk in on a morning about 20 mins and taxis back are about 5/6 euros depending on where you are, it’s one of the man roads out of town so easily connected. Hotel will call you a taxi to front door if want too.Another bonus about location people miss if you he the public Alsa bus from the airport with is only 8 euros it’s first stop from the airport in the bus station downstairs from the hotel, also the last stop going back to airport.Has a pool and Sun area but not used as only been in winter.
