  Not good hotel

  24 Aug 2026

Well from day one our air conditioning unit water leaking water on to the floor which resulted in me almost having a bad fall this went on for the two weeks we were there 5 times they were in to fix it and it was still leaking when we left room 217 also WiFi was total crap kept starting and stopping they tryed it 4 days in a row then on the 5th day they put me on a different server and that was as bad and it wasn’t just my phone it was the wife’s and granddaughters iPad then we have the entertainment and kids club kids club was a home if you spoke English there didn’t interact with them had more time for the Spanish they play a game mybe twice a day like pass the parcel but it was alway a Spanish person or kid that would win as there looking at the people and can stop the music to whoever they want out next and most of the staff were really nice except one in the outside bar who told my granddaughter she couldn’t have any free crisps but was able to give them to others which she didn’t understand and I have to mention the cleaners who does a fantastic job every day in our room and 100% trust worthy

  Amazing staff service

  16 May 2026

I loved my stay here for my 40th birthday. The staff were outstanding, food was good, only 2 problems I had with this hotel was the couples arguing next door every day from 6.30am and the furniture moving is very loud.Other than that I had no problems with this hotel and the view really was something special Atención al Cliente Hoteles Poseidon, General Manager at Hotel Poseidon Playa, responded to this review Dear Carl P,Thank you for choosing us to celebrate your 40th birthday and for sharing such thoughtful feedback. Nice Hotel

  12 May 2026

We stayed here in April and found the hotel to be very nice. Mixture of people, from Spanish, English, Irish etc and all ages also. Room are pretty small, enough for 2 people, we had 3 in our room and no space to move at all, 3 women trying to get showered and ready for a night out, not great. Shower was great though. We were on the 12th floor so pretty high up, not for the weak hearted. Could do with a kettle without having to hire one at reception. We went bed and breakfast and the food was okay, something fro everyone's taste. Staff on reception were very nice. The only down side to staying here was at breakfast I didn't know you could not take food out of the dining room, I am not in a habit of doing this and I'm not talking a full plate of food but one biscuit and one tiny pastry that I had on my plate, so I had my hands on it, I wrapped it up and put it in my bag as I didn't want it to go to waste, as growing up we were told not to waste food and there are starving children in the world etc ect. A very unpleasant member of staff who was clearing up up came over to me and loudly told me to take the food out of my bag, I was very embarrassed by this as everyone heard him, very rude, he could have came and whispered to me about it, maybe he needs some extra training on civility to customers especially as it was our first time at this hotel. Apart from that I would go back as the rest of the staff were lovely. Excellent hotel in Old Benidorm- great value

  29 Apr 2026

After reading some reviews we were a bit sceptical but could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Reviews said you could hear people talking next door- we did not hear a thing from other rooms. Hotel staff were very friendly, pool area spotless. Breakfast was so varied. Literally something for everyone’s tastes. Rooms a little dated but very spacious and spotlessly clean. Rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels etc. All rooms face the sea. Would definitely return Atención al Cliente Hoteles Poseidon, General Manager at Hotel Poseidon Playa, responded to this review Dear Gill B,Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback.
