First time staying here.Check in simple,lovely staff,especially restaurant staff.Hotel looks bright modern.Food for breakfast was good,evening meal not as good.Rooms smallest weve ever had anywhere,however clean.A point for improvement there are no kettles in the rooms.We would stay here again .Lifts tiny but arrived quickly.

I have been before and I didnt like the food so I just booked bed and breakfast this year. The staff are lovely there is a man who works in bar by the pool he wasnso lovely and always smiling. The security in the hotel is amazing you cant get to rooms or pool without scanning room key. However, the ray of sunshine security guard in the lobby at night could do with a session at a charm school. There are no kettles in the rooms so you have to take your own. The cleaner doesnt understand the concept of a "do not disturb" sign and just walks in to your room anyway. But not a bad place to stay over all.

Haven’t been to the Calypso for a few years due to ill health so was looking forward to this 4 day break in Benidorm.Checking was quick and allocated a room at around midday. Room was clean and comfortable and the maid did a great job cleaning the room daily. There’s a TV, Safe, Fridge, double wardrobe and cracking shower with plenty of hot water.Sleep quality was terrible as the pipework above or below the were whistling during the night which kept me wake. Reception did send a maintenance man up but he couldn’t speak English. Asked for a room exchange and the lady only wanted more money off me. I flew with Jet2 and paid circa £880 for a 4 night stay HB. Needless to say I didn’t take up her offer and suffered the noisy room. So not feeling refreshed at allNice pool are but some sun beds were well past their life span.Hotel is spotless clean. Food has gone back from when I was last there and would only give it 2*All in all horrendous sleep quality and for £880 not worth another visit

this is a great hotel wonderful food staff are a credit to the servi group, pool area is great no fighting for sun beds here always plenty. the hotel is in a great position but is also quiet at night. to be honest the rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade but are kept spotless. i have been coming to the Calypso for nearly 50 years i will be returning in october and have booked to return in 2027 for three more holidays. i would recomend the Calypso to anybody Carlos Bárcenas, Guest Services / Front Office at Servigroup Calypso, responded to this review Dear guest,We thank you enormously for your time to share your experience at our hotel, your words are highly valued by us. Great hotel lovely staff

Our first time staying at this hotel. The check in was friendly and quick, room was ready early. We had a twin room on 11th floor, room spacious bathroom on the small side but adequate, great balcony with street view and Seaview. Staff were all very friendly from reception, bars and restaurant a special shout out to Caroline customer care she was lovely and helped me with late check out. We stayed half board the breakfast and evening meal were lovely something for everyone. Pool a little noisy one day with a group who had drinks in the pool but the other days were fine nice water jets in pool and entertainment by the pool. The evening entertainment was good in the terrace bar, especially the Thursday and Friday.
