    We travelled here as an English group for a hen do …..The hotel was totally Spanish not 1 sign was in English so it was a good job there were no emergency’s, it was over run with 60/70 year old Spanish people, it was definitely made for oap’s, the bar staff were rude watched our every move like we were criminals, didn’t understand any request, when we was round the pool kept checking on us like we were doin something wrong. Food was nasty no taste and never anything left and walking into breakfast everyone staring as we were the youngest people in the hotel, i definitely would not recommend to anyone. In the rooms there was no aircon it blew out hot air, not 1 cup or glass in our rooms, towels big enough for the borrowers and the only good things were that the room was clean and reception staff helpful with taxis etc but that was it.To top it off this picture is a Spanish lady who while we was round the pool called few of us fat we had to translate…and wouldn’t leave us alone MEDSUR HOTELES, Marketing at Hotel Tropic Relax, responded to this review Dear client. We are sorry if the expericence in ur hotel wouldn' mach your expectations for a hen do weekend. Our clients are the most important for us no matter where they came from. As we are in spain, at this time of the year most of our clients are spanish retirement people but as i said before everybody its welcome and i can assure you for our experience that elderly people its happy and kind as yougnsters. As we like to saw our culture and gastronomy we like to serve to our clients traditional food and local products but we also serve different meat, fish vegetables, salads and sides. As we are in "La Cala de Finestrat" we think we are a good option if you like to enjoy Benidorm without the hussel and bussel of the center but on the other side, we are far from the night live.     We stayed at this hotel for a week never again we won't be going back food was horrendous my partner got flea bites off the bed some staff were friendly some wasn't as friendly when I asked for a particular drink I got told no it's not for English people all I can say that the Spanish guests were looked after better than English people entertainment was not good MEDSUR HOTELES, Marketing at Hotel Tropic Relax, responded to this review Dear Aurora.     Will start with positives,Beds are really comfy and generous in size,Room cleaned and towel change everyday,Staff really friendly and niceFew minutes walk to nearest beach Not a bad hotel howeverThis hotel is catered 100% for Spanish guests all signs and notices only in Spanish no English or any other languages, entertainment only Spanish, as a family we have stayed in a number of hotels in mainland Spain and the Spanish islands and the entertainment has catered for all nationalities. We were the only British guests and no other nationalities only SpanishPool quite small only 16 sun loungers however you can use the sister pool across the road again this hotel 100% caters for SpanishNo life guard in the Hotel Tropic Relax Food - as a family we are not fussy eaters and will eat almost anything however the food again catered more for Spanish guests (you won’t starve) even 1 of the waiters was surprised when he realised we were British we were full board and went out a number of nights to eatThis hotel is in quite resort however Close to Benidorm you can catch the number 2 bus €1.60 It does not mention on the Tui site that this is a hotel that seems to cater for Spanish and no other nationalities MEDSUR HOTELES, Marketing at Hotel Tropic Relax, responded to this review Dear client.     Stayed here for a week in May 2025. I think I was the only English person staying which suited me just fine. I stayed b&b - there was always plenty to choose from and it was good quality. The room was cleaned every day and towels changed. Spotless. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back. Muy bien!     Lovely hotel and super service.

    Lovely quiet hotel. Nice modern room and bathroom. Double room comprises of two double beds pushed together, comfortable mattress and pillows. Very clean hotel, room cleaned daily and towels changed. The food was excellent with a good selection. Pool area was quiet, only used by a few people, so finding a sunbed is not an issue. Larger pool with slides etc in sister hotel was used by families. All staff were friendly, helpful and not speaking Spanish did not cause me any problems, staff were able to understand me. I did see a few smiles when I tried asking for something in spanish, goodness knows what I was saying. Bus to benidorm stops outside sister hotel, to go to benidorm stand at the stop opposite the bus shelter.
