We had a really disappointing experience with this hotel after checking out.Our group had four rooms and, because we had to leave very early, a few room keys accidentally came away with us. We contacted the hotel, explained what had happened and offered to send the keys straight back by post. At first they said that was fine, so we assumed the issue was resolved.Instead, they later changed their position and charged us anyway.They originally withheld the full €500 deposit. After a lot of back and forth, that was eventually reduced, but they are still keeping €325 over the missing keys — despite the fact that we still have them and have repeatedly offered to return them.We asked for some explanation or evidence showing how they arrived at that figure, but none has been provided. Roughly €75 per key seems extraordinary for what appeared to be very basic room keys.What makes it more irritating is that some of the doors at the property didn't even close particularly well, so the idea that these keys justify hundreds of euros in charges is difficult to understand.We aren't disputing that we accidentally took the keys, and we apologised as soon as we realised. If the hotel had incurred a genuine replacement cost, we'd have understood paying something reasonable. But refusing the return of the original keys while retaining €325, with no proper cost breakdown, feels completely disproportionate.A frustrating end to the stay and enough that we certainly wouldn't return. I'd be very cautious about leaving a large deposit with this hotel.

Avoid this hotelVery disappointing experience. We had 4 rooms, and some of us didn’t even have bedding, so we had to use towels to sleep under.Several doors didn’t even shut properly, which is a serious security risk. The keys were also poor quality. We accidentally took a few keys with us when leaving very early, but we still have them and offered to post them back. The hotel initially agreed, then reneged.Despite this, they took our full €500 deposit and, after a long dispute, are still charging us €325. They refuse to provide evidence of the actual cost of replacing the keys — around €75 per key.We accept losing the keys was our responsibility, but this charge is completely disproportionate, especially when we offered to return them. The whole situation feels like a scam and a way of making money from deposits.We would never stay here again. Avoid at all costs.

I stayed at Now Benidorm Hotel with 3 other lads and we had a fantastic stay.The room was clean (maybe slightly dated) but was a perfect basecamp for us. The bathroom was also spotless.I cannot speak highly enough of the staff. Each receptionist, bartender, cleaner we met was very friendly and up for a laugh.The pool was well maintained and has a good atmosphere, the bar was equally good for starting our night at.Location wise, the hill is pretty brutal but after a few beers you'll forget all about it. The hotel next door does play music from 10am (not great if you're hungover) but it is no fault of NOW Benidorm.Ultimately, this hotel served its purpose perfectly for us and we would gladly stay again.

Visited here for a 4 night stay in June.Have to say, we couldn’t fault the place.Hotel is clean enough. It’s not spotless, but it’s also cheap.Reception staff very friendly, and approachable with any queries.Secure gated system.Cheapish bar.Decent pool area.The clientele very friendly Also and a proper holiday and community feel around the place.Only gripe is the location being up a hill.I wouldn’t say the hotel is suitable for those with kids, those with mobility issues, or those looking for a romantic getaway.

Room was absolutely stinking, hadn’t been cleaned properly before we had the keys, still lady’s hair on my bed, we had a freezing cold shower all weekend to which we had notified reception who said that’ll it be fixed. It never did. Had to bite the bullet and take it like a man. May as well have had a hosepipe. The mess Underneath the bed I’d rather not go there… The whole floor underneath us was getting renovated so waking up with a hangover every morning to the sound of an angle grinder or a sledgehammer wasn’t on my plans that weekend so that was definitely a putting off, you needed a cscs card to stay there!
