  We stayed for a week from the 18th to the 25th and overall had a really good holiday.When we arrived on the 18th, the hotel initially had our booking down as starting on the 19th, but this was quickly rectified and we had no problems checking in.Air conditioning was €7 per day and the safe was €15 for the week. We also had a €200 deposit, which we paid by card. We use Revolut when we're away and had absolutely no issues — the money was back in the account by the time we landed back in the UK.We'd read quite mixed reviews about the Wi-Fi and TVs in the rooms, but we booked through Loveholidays and had free Wi-Fi and a smart TV included in our stay, so I imagine this may depend on who you book through. There was also free Wi-Fi around the pool and bar area.The apartments are really spacious and clean. I'd read reviews saying they were dated, but to be honest, the majority of apartments in Benidorm are. Cleanliness is more important to us, and we couldn't fault it — our apartment was very clean. The mattresses were extremely thick and although they were on the firmer side, which obviously comes down to personal preference I don't like firm mattress but it never stopped us all sleeping haha. The balcony was a great size and overlooked the pool area. We were a little apprehensive about the BC Music side of things, as we knew it was a music resort aimed more towards younger guests. However, the music was actually pretty good! You do get the odd idiot making noise from balconies, but it doesn't last and wasn't a major issue for us. The hotel does have quiet times in place. We did have one night where guests above us were banging around and setting the smoke alarm off at around 4:30am, but thankfully it didn't last long and only happened once.The only real inconsistencies for me were the reception opening times and the bar. Reception supposedly has set opening times, but you rarely seem to see anyone there. The bar was also a little hit and miss. Luckily, it was open Tuesday to Sunday during our stay, but we spoke to guests arriving the following Monday and Tuesday who said it was closed. I can definitely understand why that would frustrate people.Location-wise, it's close to the beach, bars and plenty of restaurants. There are some hills leading up to the hotel, but we didn't find them too bad. However, anyone with major mobility issues may struggle.Overall, we'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a cheap and cheerful getaway. We would happily return at some point, although personally we prefer the other end of Benidorm, nearer Vistamar and that area — but that's just personal preference.I wouldn't write this place off based on some of the reviews we read. We actually found a lot of them to be quite harsh compared with our experience. We had a really good holiday and would go back again.My main advice would be to do your research before travelling and make sure you're aware of any extra costs, deposits and what's included in your booking. We knew about the €200 deposit and additional charges beforehand, so we simply put the extra money aside and didn't have any nasty surprises when we arrived.

  Where do i start. When we arrived in the early morning, we couldnt get into the apartments. Eventually got in an emergency door. We saw the notice at reception to go to the other apartments to get the keys. We got a taxi to it. No one at reception. We had to stay in a hotel in the old town for the few hours till reception opened at 9.30am. Positives were the apartments were clean enough and big. Shower was lovely and beds were comfortable. Location is good.The negatives are not enough sunbeds around the pool. In the week we never lay out on the sun beds. We were going to speak to the management company about no one at reception to check us in but speaking to other people who went to him to complain he just walked away. The food isnt great. Expensive drinks and icecream. Us as a group of friends would advise people not to stay here.

  We had a lovely stay at the Picasso Apartments in Benidorm. The apartment was very roomy and spacious, with plenty of space to relax and unwind. Everything was clean and comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home.The pool area was excellent – well maintained, never too crowded, and perfect for cooling off after a day in the sun. The apartments are located up a small hill, but it’s only a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, and nightlife. The location strikes a great balance, being close enough to everything while still situated in a quieter, more pleasant part of Benidorm.Overall, Picasso offers great value for money, especially if you’re looking for a spacious apartment in a peaceful area with good facilities. We’d happily stay here again.
