  We have just returned from Hotel Port Benidorm.The hotel is in a great location, very close to the beach and within a 5 minute walk to the strip.The hotel is beautiful with one tower being refurbished and the Sky Tower being new.The reception staff were lovely and helpful and check in was quick so even with a queue the wait was short.We had a junior suite in the Sky Tower and it was amazing, very large and comfortable with views over the swimming pool, I would recommend the upgrade for the extra luxury.The pool area was large with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Maybe it was time of year but everyone was respectful about not reserving sunbeds so there was always plenty to choose from.The roof bar is definitely worth a visit but it seems to be run separately from the hotel but again we didnt have to queue to get in and the cocktail was lovely, watching the sun go down.Some people were all inclusive but we were half board and as usual never went to breakfast. The restaurant is clean and bright with free filtered water for everyone at dinner which was a plus. The food was plentiful and well cooked, however the combination of dishes to account for different nationalities didnt work. Also the staff were slow to replace dishes, honestly you will find something to enjoy but it could be better. If the buffet matched other similar hotels this hotel would be the number 1 in Benidorm. However I would definity stay here again. Thank-you.

  Excellent hotel, excellent service and staff( they give you welcoming feeling and help you) . If you find place where is not noisy ( parties ), but place for relaxing and good atmosfere, it is the place. Young people have nice behavior, no crazy drinking, shouting...super location, near sea and promenade. Hotel has few bars with classic music, modern. They are entretaiment, sport activities. Room was clean with a lot of utilities ( comb, teeth brush, teeth paste, razor, shampoo,....) Good value for money. Food was good a lot of choices. If you find place for relaxing, it is the place.   Location is perfect right by the beach. Great snack bar food - I recommend the chocolate cake and roast potatoes. Hotel is clean tidy and welcoming. Entertainment in the day isn’t great. Pool is lovely ,yet the main pool could be a bit warmer.and a nice cabanas , which are comfortable enough to fit 3 people .views are spectacular from the roof terrace . Wi fi is brilliant and easy access to all amenities . Didn’t spend much time in our rooms but they seemed nice .   Great hotel, Definitely worth a visit

  Great experience. Arrived early afternoon around 1:30pm and our room was ready on the 14th floor. Room spotless, and well renovated. I was a little concerned after reading some reviews regarding the glass bathroom situation. We found this to not be a major issue as the glass is frosted and it's difficult to see through however if you needed to use the toilet in the night the light from the bathroom would aluminate the whole bedroom. Plus you are unable to lock the glass bathroom door (it just swings). Overall we made it work, but could prove an issue for some. The pool area is lovely and clean and is never really busy. (Maybe the time of year ?) Like others have said there is no need to get a sun bed early doors. We went down about 11am and there were still loads available. This makes the experience so much more relaxing (not having to rush for a sun bed). The restaurant was also spotless, food was a bit hit and miss. Sometimes cold and would need re heating in the microwave. Also even though there was a large selection, we found there were a lot of fish dishes and as neither of us eat fish we did struggle slightly however always found something to eat. There were things like pizza and chips daily with a rotation of grilled turkey/pork/beef available. Lots of salad and desserts which were very nice. Lots of options for breakfast including full English and continental. Can't really judge too much on the evening entertainment as we went out most evenings as it's so close to many bars, restaurants and the beach. The evenings we did stay in there was a singer and a show put on but the atmosphere and experience is nothing like what you will find in the bars 5-10 minute walk away, all having various shows, singers and entertainment to a very good standard. The bar on the 19th floor "La Terrasse" was lovely in the evening with cracking views, drinks prices only slightly more expensive than the main hotel bar and pool bar (3.50 euro for a beer around the pool and main bar and 5.00 euro in La Terrasse bar). We stayed half board and did look at the AI upgrade for 22 euro per person per day however for us found it wouldn't be worth it. We don't really eat lunch, only on occasions and like to venture outside the hotel for a day or two and in the evenings. Even though staying by the pool most days we found it was still cheaper for us being half board.Lastly lots of reviews mention negative comments regarding the lifts. During our 7 night stay we never had an issue, not once.We did stay clear of peak dinning hours though, whether this makes the difference I'm not sure. Just don't let that put you off. If in any doubt you could ask for a low floor room when booking. Overall no major issues, would definitely recommend.
