  My boyfriend and I stayed for 10 Fabulous days. The place is s very quiet it is close to the centre of the city and the beaches, right down there is a bar and is Very good. We recommend this place!!!!

  Portofino 2 offers good clean,basic self catering facilities including iron & board. Rooms not massive but we slept well ,generally,apart from when the night club opposite was open ,the Spanish clientele partied till daylight & made much noise in the street outside.Luckily, our alcohol consumption help us through most of the noise. There is not a great deal of wardrobe room in the apartments ,but beds are comfortable & there is a large balcony.There are only 2 apartments per floor. 200 euro deposit is requested on arrival but is not refunded until mid afternoon on departure day which is a problem if you are leaving early & requires a certain amount of trust that the deposit will get back to your bank account. Luckily,we didn't leave till after the deposit refund was available. That is a drawback to consider. The apartments are located just on the levante side of the old town & are within easy walking distance of attractions in both old & new towns & are within easy reach of several bus routes. There are lots of bars within easy reach.

  Portofino 2 is located just on the Levante beach edge of the Old Town ,within a short walk of amenities in both the new & old towns & close to several bus routes.The rooms are not massive but there are only 2 apartments per floor. Wardrobe space is limited but beds are comfortable & there are plenty of facilities within for self catering. An iron & board is also included.Although bed changing & towel changing are diy enterprises there are plenty of clean towels & sheets available.Balcony is large with table. There are drawbacks with these apartments ! Over the Hallowe'en weekend there is a Spanish nightclub (Tequila) that seems to be open at least 3 or 4 nights at weekends & the Spaniards love to stand in the street talking loudly ,sometimes till 8 am....luckily we had had enough booze the nights before to sleep through, so book here with caution. On arrival 200 euro deposit is requested which is not refundable till mid afternoon on departure day so much is left to trust when parting with a deposit especially if you are departing early & paying by card. Luckily, we didn't leave till mid afternoon so i made sure my deposit was repaid. Apart from those two hiccups the stay was excellent & there are many bars within easy reach. The Bodhran Irish bar on the way to the beach has life Irish music for 3 hours per night & the Tower Lounge (100 yards) has 2 acts per night.

  We stayed here for four nights. I have to say super location slap bang in the middle of everything. Near the old town, beach and main strip. Fab restaurant right beside it too Margem, Toscano and they serve food too. We got drinks and with all our drinks we got lovely canapées. The only thing I will say is the room was tiny for three people. My friends stayed there before there was two of them and there room was double the size. Only one mirror in the bathroom so if there are three girls in the room getting ready its abit hectic.Huge balcony, nice fleece blankets nice and cosy for the evening time.Fully equipped microwave, iron, toaster, kettle,hob and dishes.The room was not cleaned the whole time we were there or towels changed. I would say the towels should be changed more regularly.The pool is tiny and the sun is out in the morning pool side but as the sun goes down there is no sun for the rest of the day by the pool.I would stay there again but aim to get a bigger room.We were able to leave key in the reception in the Los not sure the second name and we checked into the reception here too.Value you for money affirmative!Location superb😉I will be going back.

  Okay for basic facilities

  Facilities were basic but fine for what we needed and was clean, large balcony and powerful shower. I did not like the fact that you could only access your apartment via the lift, stairwell was locked at all times. I understand this is due to security as there is no one supervising people entering and leaving so if you don’t like lifts, this place is not for you. You could access the stairs on the way out as the door would open from the inside but i feel guests should have a key for the stairs!! It is situated on a crossroads which is very noisy, every morning there was dragging of chairs, there is a restaurant under the apartments so did not sleep well at all. Another member of our group booked this accommodation, I would not book to come here myself
