This beach hotel is situated in the Rincon de Loix area of Benidorm, approximately 2 km from the city centre and just 600 m from nightlife spots and Levante’s sandy beach. Nearby, guests will find many shops, bars and restaurants, as well as the popular Sunday market. Links to the public transport network are roughly 300 m away. Alicante - El Altet airport is approximately 60 km from the hotel.

    Nice Hotel

    Great Hotel, very clean and the staff are so friendly. We occupied room 212 which was ideal for me after a knee operation. We stayed half board and thought the food was lovely, with plenty to choose from. Location is ideal, with a bus stop across the road to the rear of the hotel that took us to the old town a few nights. We really enjoyed the week at the Regente and would book again without a problem.

    Went here with group of 10 women ages 40/80 years we had an absolute ball the staff were all friendly and the rooms were clean the food was great if you can't find something you like to eat then you aren't trying go out to eat there is restaurants all round The entertainment was a laugh every night with a singer karaoke and quizzes the only concern was round the pool the slabs were moving under foot but we had no problem with walking on them Guest Service Manager, Other at Medplaya Hotel Regente, responded to this review Dear Gena,Thank you for your wonderful review.     Not great, room was tiny for 3 full paying adults, no room to move. Have to pay for safe have to pay for pool towels. It was not cleaned very well but honestly think it’s because cleaners could not move in room either.     Friendly Hotel in a good location

    Postive. Hotel is in a good location. Tea & coffee making facility, kettle and fridge in bedroom. Handy to lots of bars & restaurants. Also near Indoor Market and not too far to walk to Levante beach.Plenty of choice for food at breakfast and evening meal although not a big choice for desserts .. a cake,.ice cream, yoghurt & fruit. But something for everyone. We went out in the evenings after our meal.so can't comment on entertainment.Negative. On arrival we asked about upgrading to full board. The make receptionist was not very helpful, just told us to pay €10 each lunch time.We found out later we could have upgraded to all inclusive but it was too late by then. Maybe clearer notices in reception about upgrading would be helpful.The carpet in foyer is very tatty & ripped. Not a good advert for a 4 star hotel. Some chairs and seating are ripped in dining room and could be replaced.
