    Fabulous Stay, great family hotel.

    rating28 May 2026

Just about to Leave after 11 days of staying at this Fabulous Hotel for the first time and I WILL be back.I read a lot of mixed reviews prior to coming here but always like to sample things myself.Food was good with plenty of variety, enjoyed Eggs every morning fried, omlette, scrambled all good 👍. Restaurant very busy in a morning and clearly very popular.Evening meals something different every night and always a great choice, Upgraded the drinks package so could have the top shelf brands and this at 8 euros a day was great value. The Bar staff friendly and work very hard.Great pool for the kids, to enjoy with lots of sunbeds available, (would advise to get down early though)Room absolutley fine at the end of the day its only a base to sleep in had air con that worked throughout the stay, a safe and a great shower. Cleaned Daily with fresh towels every day.Great location did the all inclusive but we venturned out on an evening to try local restaurants, the location of this hotel is perfect for other bars and restaurants. So would recommend its a hotel that has something for everyone.Few points to be realistic about....Lifts are busy as you would expect in a multi story hotel at key times I.e Breakfast and teaRestaurants get Busy also later in the morning about an hour before breakfast service ends.Entertainment predominantly a family friendly hotel so the entertainment reflects this.

    Ok but some frustrating issues

    rating27 May 2026

Writing this on the final night of our 7-night half-term stay as a family of 2 adults and 3 children. We’ve previously stayed twice at the Flamingo Oasis, so naturally that’s been our comparison point throughout the holiday.Overall, we’ve had a really good holiday and the weather has been stunning, which always helps. The hotel has a lot going for it, especially for families.Check-in was quick and efficient, and the gentleman on reception who welcomed us was probably the friendliest member of staff we encountered all week — really helpful and welcoming. Our room was clean, comfortable and a good size. We were lucky enough to have a corner room with a larger balcony, which was great for a family of five. Beds were comfortable and overall we thought the room was slightly better than the Flamingo.Drinks were a mixed bag. The Amstel beer on all inclusive was good, and my wife enjoyed the cava once we discovered it was available. Unfortunately, our first experience at the lounge bar wasn’t great due to one staff member being quite rude and impatient, which did put a dampener on things initially. The machine wine wasn’t very nice either, which felt disappointing for Spain. It would also have been nice if there were some non-alcoholic cocktails for children as an alternative to the usual fizzy drinks, although the kids loved the slushies.Food was okay overall rather than exceptional. Breakfast was generally good, especially the hash browns and tomatoes, although if you arrived later some items had run out (including sausages a few times). Dinner was definitely the best meal of the day and we could usually all find something to enjoy. Lunch selection was limited, so we often used the snack bar instead, although queues could get long at busy times. The kids pool and slides were a big hit with our children. The main pool area, however, was extremely busy and not particularly relaxing during half term. You do need to queue before 11am if you want beds near the kids pool. Lifeguards were also very strict — no drinks, balls etc by the pool — which some families may appreciate more than others.Entertainment was probably the weakest part of the holiday for us, with some acts better than others. The magician in particular wasn’t great. The biggest downside — and the main reason we probably wouldn’t return — was the lift system. Despite there being five lifts, waiting times could be incredibly frustrating, especially on the 10th floor with children. At peak times we sometimes waited 10–15 minutes and many lifts arrived already full. It genuinely became one of the most stressful parts of the stay.Location-wise, the hotel is excellent for the beach and getting around Benidorm. We also had a fantastic day out getting the number 10 bus to Altea, which we’d highly recommend to anyone staying here.Overall, despite a few frustrations, we still had a lovely family holiday and there are definitely positives to the hotel. With improvements to the lifts, food variety and some customer service consistency, this could easily be a much stronger family hotel experience.

    Fantastic time

    rating27 May 2026

We have just returned after a week stay as a family of 6 adults and 2 children, we were unsure as had read some not so good reviews but I have to say this was not our experience, the staff were polite, accommodating and friendly, the food was ok, with all inclusive there is always an element of the same things but always extras that were different. Always found something everyone liked. The hotel and pool area was always clean and tidy and the foam party and water run in the pool was great, the kids loved it. I think this was great value for money and I would hope others have the same fun we have had.
