  This was a 40th birthday Benidorm adventure for a right of passage. Our first impressions wasn’t amazing. We had been upgraded to a family room for 2 of us; sounds great but meant we had a double bed and a double sofa bed with a kitchen and more room. However being two lads neither wanted a sofa bed for 3 nights, when we heard the room we were supposed to have had two double beds we instantly realised the upgrade wasn’t quite what it was made out to be and only given as they didn’t have the rooms ready. When we turned out the sofa bed to find spots of blood on the sheet it was time to complain. Initially we were told we accepted the upgrade saying ‘fantastic’ but I can tell you this was not the case at all no such conversation happened. But the blood forced their hand and got us a room that we booked. The half board food was very bland and disappointing but apart from that we enjoyed our stay.

  Great Value for Money Hotel

  Thank you Rosamar for a fab 5 days. This is a very busy hotel but we had nothing to complain about at all. Room was spacious and clean and housekeeping came every day. Food was absolutely fine. Actually is was really lovely. Not once did we go hungry there was plenty of choice and if you cannot find something you like then you must be super super fussy! Lifts are a nightmare like everyone says but hey you’re on holiday relax what’s 5 mins wait. Staff were very pleasant. Not once did I see any staff being rude. And at times they have cause to, with the way some holiday makers speak to them. Please and thank you goes a long way. Well done staff for being polite and professional at all times. Lastly any mess around snack bar is because people do not clean up after themselves and leave plates of food lying about. There are bins all over the place clean up after yourself. I’ve been to loads of hotels in Benidorm and this was my first time at Rosamar. Would I come back again? ABSOLUTELY. No complaints at all. All in all this is a great value for money hotel and I will definitely come again.

  We stayed at this hotel for a short 3 night break. Overall we had a good stay. Hotel is generally clean and staff are nice. Drinks were good and the token system worked well. We were always able to get a sunbed by the pool. We only ever ate at the snack bar which was nice but service can be slow. We slept well in spite of being close to the strip. Our room had a bit of wear and tear but was generally fine for what we paid. Some ants crawling around the bathroom. I felt a bit scratchy when sleeping at night but this sometimes happens due to having sensitive skin. However on the last morning I spotted bugs in the bed! I also now have bites on my face and body. I’m not sure whether this is from the bed or from outside, but just make sure you always check the beds.

  Not having the best experience been here 5 days and all was going well ball games at the pool and having fun all high fives with the so called pool attendants but.Today however we were told no ball games by the same pool attendant that has been on duty since we arrived (although after being in the managers office she said he hadn’t been) Today we also couldn’t get near then kids area because it was fully occupied by groups of older men and women! Which in its self is quite weird and disturbing when the pool area is designated for families with (I.e minors )Also noticed pool attendant on their phones most of the time and not addressing this issue!! Unless this is seen as acceptable practice in this country which if so I am utterly disgusted that this is allowed to happen ( certainly not accepted in uk especially when child protection is of an utmost priority!!Also after we had a few words over a ball the pool attendant he then decided to blow his whistle because our child was swinging on a hand rail.Fair enough but don’t decide because we have challenged your ball problem to make our son an issue!! After discussing the issues with the so called manageress we have decided this hotel is not family orientated as advertised on many platforms and the management will clearly cover for poor staff on all issues ,It’s ok to smoke and vape around the pool areas though and dive in to the pool but massive issue with a small sponge ball!! Rooms are not cleaned daily our floor was barley touched and bed has not been changed since we arrived also balcony area definitely hasn’t been touched or seen a mop over it.Food is ok but nothing special and bar staff have an issue when you try to purchase drink out with all inclusive Wouldn’t rate this as a family ordinated hotel at all The older generation love it though and definitely don’t appreciate the younger generation! Wouldn’t come back nor would I recommend to anyone after today’s poor pool experience!!!Trip advisor rating 3/10 very dissatisfied…

  Just checked in 2 beds for 3 ppl asked for room with at least a sofa told no not sure what were going to do very dissapointed at the moment Atención al cliente, Atención al cliente/recepción at Hotel Rosamar, responded to this review Dear SamJane,Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that the room layout did not meet your expectations. However, please note that none of our rooms are equipped with three separate beds or two beds and an additional sofa.
