Appalling Staff Attitude
27 Sept 2026
Never have I been so insulted by a member of staff at this hotel as I was today. Whilst I have never been a resident of the hotel for the past 15 years I have enjoyed an afternoon drink and a small bite to eat there. My partner and I were there this afternoon and decided to have a small snack. I am a fluent Spanish speaker and started to order the food in Spanish only to be told by the upstart waiter we should only order our food in English. His attitude was so cheeky we nearly cancelled the order but stayed on only to be served what I would call mediocre food. Perhaps the Tanit might look into some staff training!

Excellent stay
01 Nov 2025
Stopped here after booking another hotel that wasn't good.Asked if the had a sea view room and they did.Stayed here from the 28th October through to the 1st of November and it was great.Rooms were huge and very clean, staff were excellent and the location was excellent. We stayed on a B&B basis and this suited us due to going out most of the evenings. The coffee in the cafe of the hotel was divine.DownsidesNo kettle in room, its nice sometimes to have a brew on the balcony this is my only fault.Well done Hotel Tanit. We will be back.

Great hotel and amazing staff
18 Sept 2025
My wife and I visited the Tanit for a short 5 day break. The hotel and staff are brilliant as is the location right opposite the beach. It's close to the old town and all the variety of restraunts are amazing. Unfortunately on our last day I was very unwell and had to have an ambulance to the local hospital. I cannot thank the staff especially David on reception that called the ambulance , looked after my wife and allowed her to stay on in the room until we could fly home. Great service, lovley hotel many thanks

Hotel was in a great location but was very loud some nights ...taxi rank right outside..beautiful beach right across the road..shops and restaurants literally on the doorstep..the hotel and rooms were very clean ..staff were friendly..I thought the only thing that let it down was the food..I found it discusting didn't cater for vegetarians...Nice holiday but wouldn't go back...
