We have stayed here before & were happy with the Half Board option which was good value. However I don't think we'll be returning. Our experience of the hotel is fine , good size rooms but needs a bit of updating . Pleasant staff. BUT the restaurant experience tonight was bad to say the least. We had an embarrassing experience of having to ask for the menu for half board clients. The al a Carte menu is very expensive so did nt think this applied to us. We waited nearly half an hour for the waitress to ask what we wanted to drink.... .the restaurant soon filled up & the service just went from bad to worse. Two waitresses to serve a restaurant with covers of possibly 40+ . The main problem was the kitchen obviously again not enough staff. My partner eventually lost patience & walked out before we got our dessert. It took nearly 2 hrs to have 2 courses. The food is advertised as country / local, an excuse for serving very poor quality food it was not pleasant . We will not be back .

Convenient location but needs a revamp. Three adults so had to stay in two rooms one of which was very smelly and musty. Even leaving the windows open all evening didn’t help. Restaurant is next to the hotel along with cafe and gift shop. Not really sure that the hotel warrants four stars.

    Cheap but not cheerful

I can't understand where the great reviews come from. This hotel photos make it look like a rural location and this was the reason we booked it along with the description ofthe restaurant food (the Tudanca restaurant specializes in traditional Castilian food) perhaps this was a la carte only. Be warned, these photos are the rear of the hotel and do not show the location. It's actually next to the motorway on one side and main road on the other. The main restaurant for the hotel is located in the transport cafe/shop next door, its a separate restaurant. We had booked half bord. Evening meal was not the best but was better value than the a la carte. The service was terrible. Staff have the ability to totally ignored everyone with the exception of Spanish speaking people. We waited over half an hour for coffee, the table next to us had the same wait for their bill. The restaurant only had a handful of occupied tables. We regretted not eating at lunchtime in the cafe, food looked better and half the price. We did have a great bowl of soup. Unfortunately the cafe is closed in the evening, only snack food and bar was available. Breakfast is taken in the hotel and was OK with all the standard choices. Hallway carpet was worn and threadbare in places. Walls are scuffed in hallways and our room. Our Vinyard view room and the bathroom were large but dingy, the place may have been clean but it didn't feel like it. The room did have a small balcony, overlook the vineyard but also main road and motorway. The whole place needs redecoration and refitting. Beds were comfortable thought. There is plenty of parking as you would expect from a motorway rest area with a hotel. We would Not stay here again.

A four night business trip to the area so not much time for the spa. The staff were good and we got to understand each other with broken spanish and english. Front desk speak english so that was easy. Room was clean. I never did turn on the TV. the space was a little loud as the sound travels trough the floor and walls but not too bad. Room was warm at first but we got that sorted out. Confortable beds and nice to have a fridge in the room. Lots of plugs for charging devices. Breakfast was good, not as early as I would have liked, but lots to chose from, including cold meats and smoked salmon. Lots of pastries and of course fresh coffee on demand. The location is outside of town but the rest stop next door is convenient for gas and having a drink at the end of the day. The locals seem to enjoy it. Restauraunt in the next building is part of the hotel so charges can be made directly to the room.

    Great stay

Lovely room with great views over the vineyard. Staff were very welcoming both in the hotel and in the cafeteria. We took advantage of the underground secure parking for 10 euros. Breakfast was amazing, one of the biggest ranges of food I have ever seen. Sited just off the motorway but the traffic couldn’t be heard inside the room.
