  Good location but don’t expect any services.

  We were a week in this hotel and think it does not warrant 4 stars as there are no facilities. Very impersonal but location is good. Beds comfortable, good breakfast. However we were on the top floor with 2 terraces we could not use because of the sun and no umbrellas. When there was some shade on one terrace there were no chairs There does not seem to be any staff besides for breakfast. As previously mentioned neither a bar nor a restaurant availale. A hotel run by accountants, completely impersonal.

  Even better than before!

  We last stayed here four years ago and liked it a lot. This time we really loved it! We came back on the strength of the hotel being so close to all the historic sights and because of the fabulous apple cake at the breakfast buffet. Both were still as good!We had a room facing the street on the 2nd floor and, thanks to two sets of double glazed windows, it was nice and quiet. Modern and with everything we needed: a safe, fridge, nice toiletries, comfy beds. All the staff were so friendly, especially the young man on reception from Zafra.   Great location in best part of downtown, lots to see , attractions etc. the only down side no bar or restaurant vacilities. Not sure why this was. So check before you book.Our room was super with lovely patio with views over the city, beautiful when all lit up.

  Astronomical charges for a hotel with no services

  I went to Exe Agora CACERES with my 85 year old parents. We booked in advance thinking that like any other hotel they would be offering all the basic services for a 4 star Hotel. When we arrived there we learned that the hotel does not offer any restaurant/bar facilities not any room service. So after a long day out you could not have a simple sandwich not a salad without having had to step out meanwhile was raining cats and dogs outside. In their website is very clear the fantastic culinary options at the hotel but there was none. All the restaurants and hotels around the area were offering all services but not them. When I complained they refer to the Covid situation even though is now almost normal at most hospitality venues. We were charged over €400/night for a doble room with an extra bed. I wrote a letter to the manager and his answer was very nice eventhough he admitted that it could have been confusing when looking at the services the hotel was offering on the website but of course no discount or refund was offered. My view is not that is confusing it is just misleading people. My advice is do not stay at this hotel as there are many other hotels in the city that are cheaper with much better services.

  Good location to get to the old town

  Stayed for one night and everything was fine, clean and friendly staff at reception. Aircondition worked wonderful, it was very hot outside. Parking under the hotel was exciting because the car had to go into a car elevator ;-)Centre of the town only 3 minutes away, perfect for being close but not in the noisy parts. Only the doors of the rooms close a little noisily ...
