  Classy hotel stay.

  Great stay in this traditional hotel located a stones throw from the town centre on the edge of the town walls with subsidised, €13 per day, car parking opposite. Our room was very spacious, spotlessly clean with a great bathroom. We booked a room with a balcony, well worth a few more euros, spacious and a great view whilst sipping a G&T.Breakfast was in an enormous restaurant area, once a bank, friendly service and an extensive selection of cold meats and cheeses, pastries, cakes and so on, including bacon, sausages and scrambled eggs, very much worth including in booking your room.Overall, a really super stay in a traditional kind of hotel, but with the usual modernised conveniences, kettle and a great range of teas, WiFi etc.. Extremely friendly and helpful staff as well, easy check in, check out, recommendations for restaurants and directions.

  This is a really nice hotel and I had a lovely big room. The bathroom has both a bath and shower. Soaps are in dispensers so there are few toiletries for a standard room. There’s a mini bar in the bedroom, a desk and chair as well as an armchair. There is no restaurant but there is an open plan breakfast room through the reception. The lady on reception helped me find somewhere to eat and see and was very friendly. The only downside was the slight smell of cigarettes in the room despite the notice in the room forbidding it. The lovely cleaner said they would have happily changed my room had I mentioned it. I enjoyed the city and Plaza Mayor.

  Try to avoid rooms on cathedral side of hotel as noise nightclub (Daja Vue) opposite (not music, but people (although via from this side towards cathedral is pretty). Club name ironic, as the noise repeats each night. Beds very comfy. Very clean. Friendly staff. Varried breakfast.

  We used this hotel as an overnight stop-over en route to Santander. No complaints. Clean. Comfy bed. Good food. Pleasant staff. The parking garage is across the road that has a central continuous white line. Simple access to garage if coming up from the south but probably have to pass by and find next roundabout if coming the other way.

  A great hotel, rooms are nice and comfortable and very clean the restaurant is super we had the special and really there was so much food you could hardly eat it all. Breakfast in the morning was also super. The nightlife in the town is wonderful with just a short walk alongside the hotel and into a very big square
