  Very pleasant surprise after reading mixed reviews

  We were driving from Scotland to Portugal and were unsure how far we would travel each day. So we booked this hotel in the day. Our first choice was fully booked. We were a bit reluctant to book this one due to reports of uncomfortable beds, dated, soundproofing etc. could not have been better though. Easy to find parking to left of hotel and not nightmare if narrow underground spaces you sometimes get. Pleasant helpful staff, bright and clean spacious room, good non cooked breakfast, easy walk to old town. Don’t let reviews put you off and it was much cheaper than our original choice

  Decent hotel

  Just outside the centre of the old town. Easily accessible and have an underground parking garage. The price of this parking is quite high considering that it is difficult to park around the hotel and they take advantage of that. The hotel is a bit outdated but well maintained. Clean, decent rooms equipped with bathrooms with bath. Neat breakfast room and complete in terms of offer. There is a cafeteria that was busy with locals and therefore difficult to get a table if you are travelling as a couple since most tables are for more persons. We only stayed there on our way through and will certainly use it again if we visit Cáceres again.

  Easy walk to the old city

  We stayed for one night while crossing Spain. Very good parking/garage/security. Very spacious rooms and clean. Good location with an easy walk to the old city, which is fabulous. Breakfast was okay. Friendly and helpful staff.

  Hotel with some marks of the time, but continues in good shape.Rooms were clean. The breakfast is not a big offer, but it has quality and it's more than enough to eat well.The swimming pool is not very big, but most of the time was empty, so it was a great option.Although the hotel is not in the historical city center, it is not a big distance to it and can be easily done by foot. You have also a few big parks near, where you can go for a nice walk.Free car parking in the street was possible and easy.In a nutshell: Good option for a road trip. Definitely a 4 stars hotel, but not on a higher level.

  We were in a junior suite, giving us a sofa and desk in a separate room.It was clean and spacious and the bed enormous - but the bed was so hard. I found the hotel soulless - no restaurant service in the evening, and the cafe/bar was like a waiting room. Because the pool was not yet open (we went in May) there was nowhere green to sit outside in the shade, only on the small terrace overlooking the main road.
