Amazing hotel and location! The breakfast buffet was wonderful but Chef Charles was even better!! Always had a smile and would whip up whatever we desired! Best omelets and tortillas de patata. Take note this is my first review ever of this typeVery poor service from front desk at night and am Our room was not cleaned and they all decided it was our fault When asked to speak to the manager Natalie says “ not allowed “ “ not our rules”Having travelled the last month through Portugal and Spain at this level of hotel or better this is the worst service - and that’s in a suite- heaven help in an ordinary roomI would not recommend it! I stayed at this 4 star hotel in Cáceres and, unfortunately, I left feeling a bit disappointed. The bathroom was not as clean as expected, as I found hair left behind from previous guests. The bath towels also looked quite old and worn out. What disappointed me the most, however, was that the hotel did not have an iron available for guests to borrow. Instead, the only option was to pay for a separate ironing service, even if you just wanted to quickly iron a T-shirt. For a 4star hotel, I found this surprising and inconvenient.Overall, I expected a higher standard of cleanliness and better guest amenities for a hotel in this category. OK but lacks amentity

Great location but no amenities or service. Housekeeping was always around and helpful (but we never got any water and they have no amenities). Room was full of dust when we arrived, I wiped down the desk and chairs with several wipes and got full of dust. If it was clean it would have been a decent hotel. Safe area and right by the historical center. Feel like I overpaid for the lack of service. After I posted it, hotel said "this doesn't sound like our hotel-wrong hotel" which lacks integrity. We asked for water from front desk twice and house maids every day and they would not give us anything but on website and review they remarked "we have great amenities.' None folks. In every room you have 2 complementary bottles of water and also, two more bottles of water at the minibar, those ones aren't free. Very good hotel. Excellent location, underground garage which does take time to locate first time. Spacious bedroom with good aircon. Breakfast was perfect, continental but just what we required, Staff spoke English and were helpful.
