    Super location. Bed was very comfortable. The room was cleaned every day. Everything was within walking distance. Car park was full but there is a large car park a few minutes away that cost 15€ per day. We included breakfast and it was very good. A choice of different fresh juices, cereals, milk including lactose free, oat milk and soya. A variety of fresh bread, rolls and fresh pastries. There were also pots of natural yogurt with chia seeds, oats, walnuts and fresh fruit. Would highly recommend and will definitely return. We were in block 56 and there was an amazing wine bar and restaurant underneath. The white wine was superb. It was from Cádiz and was really good.

    Avoid lower floor interior rooms if possible

    The hotel was pleasant enough, but I was assigned an interior lower floor room that had one window facing the courtyard. No sunlight. It was OK for one night, but anything longer and it wouldn't have been a pleasant stay. It was gloomy and chilly.

    Don't Underestimate the Room on First Appearances

    We ventured to Cadiz for 3 nights and booked into the Plaza La Luz. It is situated in Old Town and you can pretty much walk everywhere. When I opened the door to the room, my heart sank a little. The rooms are spartan and not really decorated. But, the longer there, the better the room felt. The ugly couch was actually very comfortable. The bed with memory foam and the Therarest Pillows, also memory foam, were very comfortable. The rain shower had super water pressure and plenty of hot water. Our parking spot ($18 Euros/day) was about a block away. But, the best part was location, location and location. We walked to the Mercado, on the seawall and to the cathedral. I recommend this hotel.

    Arriving I pulled up outside for my wife to nip inside and ask the directions for the car park. Minutes later she arrived back with a map and directions, it was less than five minutes away!Check in was easy (we had pre checked in). Our room was in a different block about four doors down in the same street. The room was large with everything we needed including a kitchenette and a separate bathroom. Shower was good and everything really clean.It’s in a great location right in the middle of the old town (fisherman’s area), famous for its Tapas bars. We went on a pre booked Tapas walking tour and all three bars were less than four minutes away. The Cathedral was about ten minutes away, the Caleta beach about four minutes away. We highly recommend this hotel due its location and cleanliness.
