  The hotel is in an excellent position for exploring the old city of Cadiz. Our rooms were clean and a lovely size. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. You cannot access the hotel by car but the car park is 5 mins walk away. If you register your car on the app P-APP interparking BEFORE you arrive you get a discount on the car park

  Stunning hotel, excellent location, exceptional staff!

  What an incredible hotel experience. To start, the hotel itself is stunning, a beautiful, elegant palace of a hotel with a lovely lobby, breathtaking staircase and a stunning glass atrium six stories above. Often if the lobby is a showstopper the rooms can be less so, but our room was lovely, well appointed, designed for comfort and quiet. The reception staff was attentive, professional and very helpful. While we did not eat breakfast at the hotel, breakfast was available. The hotel location is ideal, an easy walk to all the sights. We hope to return! And…the lobby was so gorgeous I forgot to take pictures of the room.

  Where Great Hospitality Meets Great Comfort

  Palacio Sagasta is a place where outstanding hospitality truly meets exceptional comfort. From the start, communication before our arrival was clear and very helpful, especially the advice about accessing the hotel by car and using the nearby public parking.We received a very warm welcome on arrival and enjoyed a fantastic stay in this historic and remarkable hotel. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, the rooms were extremely comfortable, and the décor was tasteful and elegant.The hotel's location makes it a perfect base for exploring the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have very fond memories of this wonderful place.

  Inconvenient location and over rated!

  Such a disappointment!Let’s start with the parking: kudos to their emails that said that the hotel is inaccessible to cars - so cannot even drop off the bags. The only parking garage is always packed. The parking spots are narrow, so unless you are driving a tiny car, plan to send some time parking very very carefully. Then take your bags out, take the elevator and drag your bags over cobble stones for about a 1000 feet to get to the hotel. From the time one enters the garage (€25/day) till you enter your hotel room, plan on 30+ minutes, not five!At the hotel you are met by a metal gate. Ring the bell, and someone buzzes it open. Haul the bags up another step to get to the lobby.Our suite was well appointed but the carpet was so dirty that we asked for it to be removed.The rooms are all facing three streets and the noise from the streets was very loud. Only on complaining the next day were we told that the room windows have additional shutters/doors that can decrease the sound.People make a hotel, hospitable. You only meet two people here: the (warm) breakfast person and the (cold) receptionist, who is hardly ever at her desk.Other than breakfast, there is no food or drink available. Unless you count the leftover pastries from breakfast in the lobby! Seriously, they are there all day long!The only good thing is that there are 5-6 restaurants within minutes.There must be better hotel options in Cadiz.

  Amazing Hotel and staff Room was magnificent centrally located. Front staff Sara was extremely knowledgeable on places to eat and see. She assisted mapping out our day based on what we wanted to see and eat. She greeted us with a smile and always happy to answer any questions.
