Location

    We just went to the hotel for a night of passing. Just sleep.Not a great place or hotel. It is normal for the price it has and being the date it was. Acceptable for overnight stay.We do not use food services and therefore I do not know how I would be. Originally submitted in Spanish on www.tripadvisor.es. View originals.

    The hotel isn't bad if you have a car and you need somewhere clean and in good price to sleep . The people are very friendly and for someone like me who don't speak well spanish was good experience. The rooms are getting everyday cleaned up . The only negative thing is that they don't have refrigerator in the room the restaurant is open kitchen from 7 in the morning until late night and the food is really good is you are see food fun.

    We knew that this would be a 'motel type' stay - just off the main road into Cadiz, as we couldn't book anywhere nearer the city over Easter due to the Semana Santa celebrations, but it was ok and at a decent price.As this is off the main tourist track, don't expect too much help with your pigeon Spanish. We got by, but the staff were helpful and the place was decent, clean and clearly recently refurbished in places.The WiFi was a bit patchy in our rooms, but ok in reception and FREE - which is becoming a must in my opinion, so it was refreshing not to have to pay extra or only get 30 mins etc. like some more expensive hotels. And compared to paying between 9 and 15 euros for daily parking at other hotels that we stayed at in bigger cities/towns, having ample free parking is another good reason to stay here if you're touring by car - that and being close to the main roads which all seem to meet up near Puerto Real.It was an ideal base for a quick drive into Cadiz for the evening (30 - 45 mins) without paying the premium of staying there (not that we could find anywhere half-decent or at anything like a sensible price because it was Easter), hence us booking in here.We'd had a long day and a drive up from Gibraltar, so we were pleased to get a good night's sleep in a comfortable room.We didn't include breakfast, as we wanted to stop in Jerez (30 - 45mins away) on the way to Seville, so I can't comment on the food.Overall this was a good value stopover in an accessible and quite easy to find place (Puerto Real) that puts you within easy reach of Cadiz and Jerez.Clearly it's not 5Star, so don't expect too much, but I'd be quite happy to stay here again if I was in the area and it beats a lot of far pricier hotels that I've stayed in.
