Authentic country Inn in Villaluenga de Rosario.

    rating09 Nov 2023

Wonderfully rustic local inn. Room was clean, cozy and had a ton of character. Restaurant experience was great. Food was tasty and atmosphere was great with many local couples and families enjoying a Saturday night out. I will definitely stay here again if back in the area

    Poorly managed

    rating01 Jun 2017

The wine list is simple a joke for a Spanish restaurant. They only had two white wine bottles to offer that are rather suitable for cooking. Moreover it's been the first time in my life I sent a plate back to the kitchen. The prawns of a "langostinos al ajillo" plate were not peeled which as a Spaniard I find unbelievable for obvious reasons (extremely hard to peel afterwards and need to wait for it to cool off before you try). Room service starts cleaning the room at 8 a.m. Making too much noise (it is a small hotel with a few rooms, so they could organize it more conveniently for the confort and satisfaction of their customers). The hotel is charming and has a lot of potential unfortunately is not well managed.

Friendly and spotless room but bar and restaurant a little shambolic - ok for 1 night but no more

    rating14 Oct 2014

Spotless and comfortable room and friendly welcome let down by shambolic bar/restaurant - ok for one night but no more - also this is a remote village and this is the only place to stay/eat so dont arrive too early because there is nowhere else to go!,

Charming hotel, great value, in a beautiful location

    rating22 Aug 2014

Offering amazing value in this charming village in the centre of the region's goats' cheese producing area, you'd wish for a little hotel of this standard in every corner of the world. Our small room was functional, super-clean and neat with a good bathroom, a/c and lovely views over the rooftops to the beautiful countryside beyond. Breakfast featured excellent coffee, fruit, bread and a sizeable sample of the local cheese. Don't miss the Payoyo cheese shop at the bottom of the village where some of the 16 variants can be tasted before purchase.
