    Spectacular, we will repeat in one or two months

    - The Town: Velayos is a very quiet town. Some information: there is a gas station at the entrance to the town, it has a basketball/5-a-side soccer/handball court in spectacular condition and open. There is a restaurant that we didn't try, but it looked very good and a couple of bars. - The accommodation: we had read all kinds of comments. We will summarize our experience: Félix, the owner, a charming person. He was concerned that we were comfortable, happy and had everything we needed during the entire stay. He told us that 15 years ago they restored the inn and the effort that it entailed. Even as it was Spain's first match in the Euro Cup, he invited us to watch it with him and his family. All lovely. - The hotel: impeccable, it is very beautiful, it is in perfect condition and impeccable. It is very quiet, it has several areas to enjoy: a very comfortable restaurant/breakfast, an internal room, a terrace and the pool/bar area. The pool was very clean unlike comments I have read. The pool area too, with all kinds of seating both on the terrace with umbrellas and on the grass. It is an oasis in the middle of a very quiet town with very friendly people.- The rooms: they are tastefully decorated and follow the style of the inn. The new openings that don't let anything leak. The floor and bathroom are new and in perfect condition. The room was very clean, as were the towels and the bed. I haven't seen anything that has been mentioned in other reviews, to be honest. A good-sized, comfortable room, with wifi and a TV. - Breakfast: very good quality of products, Félix asks you what you want for breakfast (he offered us freshly crushed tomatoes and toast that were exquisite), in addition to what is on the buffet. The quality of the cheese, ham, etc. Very good and the coffee very rich and strong just the way I like it. Nothing to object.We were able to see that there is a meeting room for about 30 people, I estimate which is good as it is a town close to Madrid, Ávila, etc., quiet, and with easy parking at the door.- In conclusion: in our experience we did not see anything of what we have previously read, we went as a couple, we had a great time, as soon as you enter the inn you breathe peace and it serves to relax from the stress of the city and work. We will definitely return in about a month. to enjoy the good weather and escape the city a little more, it also cools down at night making it a pleasure to sleep. I hope it helps encourage you to visit this inn, since it raised doubts for me due to some comments, but it was the complete opposite and I am glad I went, and I will return.
