Gorgeous hotel and a perfect position. Unfortunately, David waiting staff on the terrace was the most rude waiter ever. Terrible attitude and without any provocation. A lovely evening ruined by a person with no customer service skills.

Beautiful hotel with some room for improvement

Hotel Real is a beautiful, classic hotel in an exceptional location. We had a lovely room with a partial sea view, and the staff were consistently friendly, professional and attentive. We particularly enjoyed the excellent service during an afternoon aperitif on the terrace.There were, however, certain aspects of our stay, particularly around Food & Beverage and the handling of a private event, that did not fully match our expectations for a hotel of this category and price level.What ultimately made a very positive difference was the way our feedback was handled. We contacted the hotel management directly, and the Operations Director responded personally and professionally. Our concerns were taken seriously, the relevant points were passed on to the respective teams for review, and we were offered thoughtful gestures during the remainder of our stay, which we greatly appreciated.Things do not always go perfectly, even in a five-star hotel. How management responds matters – and in this respect, Hotel Real handled our feedback exceptionally well.A beautiful hotel with a wonderful location, very friendly staff and management that genuinely cares about the guest experience.

I am staying here for the third time in two years. The hotel staff are all extremely pleasant and helpful. Last night we had tapas in the bar which were excellent. This mornings buffet breakfast had as wide a range of options as one could hope for and all were well prepared and presented. The outdoor terrace is a delightful place to while away the day. The room has been very comfortable on all three occasions that I have stayed here.The hotel has a large secure car park with electric car charging facilities and it is less than a 10 minute drive from downtown.All in all, a winner.

A charming hotel with the loveliest staff who couldn’t do enough to help. The breakfast was wonderful and well organised. The rooms are a little dated but spacious and excellent housekeeping. We will be back!

Lovely, elegant hotel. Had a big room overlooking the bay. Staff very courteous and breakfast was delicious. We stayed here day before our ferry back to UK. Recommend!
