Location

The hotel is located just 1 km from Potes, with numerous shopping and entertainment opportunities, which can easily be reached by car. Links to the public transport network are also the same distance away, Santo Toribio is within 10 minutes of the hotel and Pico de Europa national park is around a 20-minute drive away. Within half an hour, Cantábrico beach can be reached by car. Santander Airport is about 80 km from the hotel. Furthermore, the nearest ski areas are roughly 90 km away.

Facility

2 suites, 2 single rooms and 44 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.     Warm welcome on arrival.Breakfast varied and plentiful, if a little modest.Pool closed until June.20 minute walk into Potes town where the life is - restaurants and bars.Room was clean and beds comfortable.Bathroom partially modernised - room 113.Bit noisy facing the road but not too bad.Popular with bikers - nice people.Good stopover.

    Clean comfortable quiet room.Polite happy staff.Ample choice for breakfast.Parking for our motorbike off the street which was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel.A short walk into the hub of Potes.Lovely views.

    Stayed at this hotel as part of a motorcycle trip.The hotel is situated on the main road and is easy to find...there is plenty of car parking and the building looks really nice.We stayed for four nights...half board. On arrival, we were greeted by the reception staff..very welcoming and couldn't do enough to help us settle in and get sorted.The room was really nice, twin comfortable beds, with an en suite bathroom, really clean with lots of hot water... the shower was amazing.The evening meal was three courses, with wine, water and bread all included. Really nice and great selection, again staff were superb.Breakfast was continental, with hot fried eggs, bacon and crepes. Again plentiful and filling.All round top stay...would I stay again...yes...would I recommend it...definitely.

    We went with a hiking group (23) and the hotel is very convenient for several of the more popular walks in the Picos area. Walking distance from Potes which is well worth a visit.No drying facilities for wet days but the showers and baths were piping hot.The hotel is very basic but the service staff were delightful.Food again basic; we were on a half-board package which may have influenced the chef's choice. In general the fish options were better than meat based dishes and no provision was made for vegetarian hikers.Bar prices very reasonable as were the house wines.Views out of the front-facing rooms better albeit noisier with the occasional road traffic.We would go back as an independent couple and try out the main restaurant as opposed to the 'package' dining room.

    The hotel is great for discovering the roads around the Picos on your motorcycle, centrally located with an easy 20min walk into Potes.The hotel is friendly, rooms are clean, staff are excellent and help you when you need it. Has a nice (un heated) pool the Infantando restaurant is really good, food portion are large. We will be making a return visit soon
