Location

The hotel is situated just off the A8 motorway, a 10-minute walk from the Laredo centre. Santander is about 50 km drive away and Castro-Urdiales is about 20 km away. The bus station can be reached by public transport in about 5 minutes. There are also lots of shops in Laredo and a number of parks in the area.

Facility

    I was in El Risco with a friend last week, the views are amazing, stunning! The food was delicious, definitely a place to be! The staff was very friendly and helpful! I will definitely visit again next time! Estuve en El Risco, la semana pasado con una amiga, salí encantado, maravillosas vistas, deliciosa comida, el personal muy amigable y educado! Volveré sin dudarlo la próxima vez!

    Spent one night there, the last night of an 8 day motorcycle tourChecked online for hotels including free parkingThis one came upBooked on lineOn arrival charged for parking!Hotel very 70s and not in a good way!The most expensive small beers on the whole tripFelt I was being ripped off!This is my first bad revue don’t normally leave reviews unless positive Off back to that part of Spain In a month with my wifeWill NOT be going back here!

    Stayed at Risco Cantabrian Experience, Laredo, Spain Saturday night as no other hotels were available in the area. It was NOT a good experience. Despite the wonderful location, overlooking Laredo beach,the Hotel is very dated in decor and furnishing with a very musty smell in the bedroom and no warm water the next morning. Breakfast was stale. What a pity that the Hotel in such a beautiful location should be do disappointingly.

    The property has a lot going for it - nice view from the restaurant and the rooms all face the water - but the management is poor and the property is dated. I was unable to see the room first and I had to pay in advance for a "deluxe" room. The room contained old and broken furniture and the bed was the worst I slept in during my trip. The wifi only worked on the top floor. I felt like I had been scammed. And the worst part is that the employees don't seem to care that there is customer dissatisfaction. I opted not to eat at the restaurant and walked into town and located a wonderful tapas bar.

    We could not find our restaurant and ended up driving right out of Laredo up a steep winding incline, then saw the hotel with restaurant on our right. It had breathtaking views over all of Laredo, the surrounding mountains, and we saw a beautiful sunset. On top of that, the food was gourmet and the best we've found thus far in Laredo. The service was excellent too. So happy we found this place!
