    Beautiful Boutique Hotel

    Sol Boutique is an amazing hotel in a perfect location. The individual rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Loved the roomy showers and the décor is beautiful. The staff are all very friendly. The hotel is in a perfect location for restaurants and sight seeing.The hotel is up a hill from the sea front, but if you go up the main street, it has a 'people mover' making the journey back to the hotel an easy walk.

    I stayed at the hotel 1 week ago. I booked a room with a double bed for two nights. The room had two single beds. I asked for a change or to have the bed made up as a double, but the receptionist treated me condescendingly, denying my every request. She didn't even apologize for assigning me a different room than the one I had explicitly selected (booking made through the hotel website). Furthermore, the hotel has no restaurant, no valet service, and no staff to help carry luggage to the room.

    Santander is a beautiful city to visit, great walks and great bars and restaurants. We go there every year in October weather is usually very good around 20c to 23c Airport is 20 minutes from the city by bus cost €3.20 or by Taxi around €20. There are numerous excellent hotels to choose from.

    We would highly recommend this hotel. Modern inside and each room is individually and tastefully decorated. Very comfortable beds. Quiet room. Excellent air conditioning- quiet. Great shower. Very modern bathroom. Coffee machine with pods and tea bags also available (receptionist provided kettle), complimentary water replaced a few times. Small but useful fridge. There is also a safe. Hotel is located at the top of a hill about 20-25 minutes from the bus station. There are 2 moving walkways to get to the top of the road. Staff were very helpful. Recommended good restaurants. We loved la Capitana restaurant which you can book in advance. Lovely outdoor terrace area at the hotel. Small bar / indoor seating area where there is a very good guide book / magazine. Breakfast room looked lovely but we ate at cafés. We look forward to returning.

    Didn't get into our room until 3 o'clock but kept luggage for us. Was in Nordic nest room was lovely as was bathroom which had walk in rain shower. Room very quiet. Breakfast room nice with varied selection. Terrace lovely to sit out in but no service there until 6 o'clock. Mention must go to Anna on reception who was lovely and also woman on reception yesterday morning Monday. Would certainly return if back in Santander which we loved.
