This hotel is located close to the motorway heading north, some 2 km from the town centre. Many of the region's top attractions, including the Altamira Cave, the beaches of Santander, Santillana del Mar, Comillas (with architecture by Gaudí) and the Picos de Europa mountain range, are all to be found within easy reach. The centre of Torrelavega is located around 1 km away. Links to the public transport network can easily be reached on foot.

Facility

8 suites, 3 single rooms and 55 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock.     This was to celebrate our diamond wedding anniversary, fantastic steak in restaurant and they made us a special celebratery desert, we chose this hotel for the swimming pools and excersise and being close to the town, and plenty of walking.

    Listen it is clean and ok, but NO WAY 4 stars!!!Old devoted rooms, nothing in the minibar (that hardly works). I admit I didn't have time (one night stay) to try the pool or spa but can only guess it is the same level.Was just passing by for a business trip. eva de miguel, Director General at Hotel Torresport, responded to this review Dear customer: We appreciate your opinion because it helps us to continue improving. The hotel has all the characteristics to be a 4 star and for that reason it has 4 stars. We regret that you have not been able to positively assess our facilities, but "I guess" that to value something, you must first have used it. All the best.

    Overnight stay on our way to the ferry, booked for bed and breakfast with off road parking, they wanted to charge us €90 with €9 for parking, I pointed out to them that on price comparison sites it was only €70 so she gave us a 10% discount which we grateful for.We had a breakfast of 1 slice of toast and a very inadequate cup of coffee, I needed food so I could take my medication, then we were given a bill for €10 each, we questioned it with Jesus the front desk manager who must have been in robot setting that morning because he just kept repeating himself, the young lady on reception was very helpful but couldn’t really do much without Jesus permission, eventually he relented and gave us an €11 discount, I certainly won’t be staying there again. eva de miguel, Director General at Hotel Torresport, responded to this review As the two people who assisted him told him, prices may vary depending on the booking channel you use. You could have made the reservation through any channel if you thought it would be cheaper than the one offered by our receptionist. We are sorry that our staff cannot express themselves in English fluently enough to give you a better explanation. Still both people acted correctly, offering you a discount as a courtesy of the hotel. The price of the buffet breakfast is clearly announced at the entrance of the room. Therefore, you already knew the price before entering and that is what our staff tried to explain to you.

    Stayed there for work, the people were nice, rooms outdated and not 100% clean.View on one side a big mall and in the other side an apartment building. For 1 night probably OK but after a week you go nuts. Not even bothered to take pictures.Restaurant very nice people but they only have one badly translated Englisch menu.The food though is simple but tasty, only downside is limited choice .

    Stopped here on a Sunday while making my way back to UK on a bike trip ,,,good location to catch ferry and motorway,,,good gym,swimming pool,,no bar or restaurant open on Sunday but room service available,,c Donald,Burger king open ,,shopping mall area closed on Sunday,,,clean room and nice friendly helpful staff
