  Pombo Hits The Spot! 👍

  Just back from a 3 night stay in the city.Choose the hotel for its central location, and I'm glad we did.The 'Pombo' is elegantly positioned, overlooking one of the main plazas. It's perfectly situated close to the Botin, Cathedral, Port, Mercado, and you can take a stroll towards the Magdalena Peninsula & Sardinero.We encountered a very efficient check-in. All staff encountered during our stay were polite & attentive.We were allocated Room 326.A good size room, with all the facilities you would need.Breakfast was a relaxed affair on the 1st floor, with views of the plaza.   Great position, lovely hotel

  One night in Santander so we wanted something the taxi could easily find from the airport and where we could walk, with luggage, to the railway station. Perfect. Hotel seems to be newly renovated. Our room was lovely with a street view. Staff were excellent and holding our luggage wasn't a problem at all. Great position in old Santander, with a lovely tapas bar just over the road, and a market with food stalls and a restaurant just a couple of steps further away. Did the job beautifully.   Great location in the centre of Santander. Clean and tidy rooms. Decent shower. Excellent black out blinds and air conditioning that is virtually silent. We didn’t sample the breakfast so can’t comment on that. Everything else was spot on.

  Hotel is in a great location right beside the Food Hall, Mercado Del Este, and its decoration is nice. The rooms were nice and a nice size with big window balcony. Large Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom had a strong smell of sewage though but it was only in our room as far as II know. Reception staff were very efficeint and friendly. The breakfast was not great and when something ran out the replacement would not arrive for a long time It was also hard to find the staff as well. There was a reasonable selection but again it wasnt available each morning. I would stay here again and have breakfast outside the Hotel.

  Beautiful hotel in Santander centre. Short trip to Santander, lovely hotel, mixing the old heritage of the building with modern style. Comfy bed, lovely breakfast and perfectly placed to walk round the city. Highly recommended- right next to plaza de Pombo.
