The rooms are so hot and they have the AC disconnected during 6 months of the year, we asked several times for a fan or a way to get the room cooler, the windows do not open much so the room can't ventilate. We were there for a bike competition, we got there two days before the competition so we could be well rested and we were not able to rest at all! In fact we both got sick because of sleeping in such a hot temperature, not being able to rest and then exercising the next day. The rooms do not have good sound isolation so you can hear almost everything from the other rooms and from outside. They opened our door once while we where resting too. The staff just don't seem to be interested in making their residents happy and making it a pleasing experience, we asked several times for them to help us get the room cooler, it was around 25C degrees, the ideal temperature for sleeping is between 16C and 20C degrees, they had no interest in helping, or in giving us a refund so we could go stay somewhere else to sleep better. I can't comprehend how this could be the recommended place to stay for a competition. Definitely affected the performance and our health.

Poor Service and lack of interest

4 night stay just didn't get any better. The staff just don't seem to be interested in making their residents happy and making it a pleasing experience. It is the small things. The hotel lacks the basics and the interest of the customer. I went to the bar for a drink at 11.20pm (could be any drink) and stood for about 30 secs. Barman never looked up. I then took 5 steps back and said 'are you closed'. 'Si' was his response and he still never made any eye contact. The next evening, I asked for a charger for a Apple phone. - Quick response was no. don't have one. Not looking to see if they could accommodate me -too much trouble for them and no better for me. It was a flat no. They could have contacted their partner hotel just yards away, but just didn't bother. Poor manners, no interest. Just can't understand this behaviour.

Location is pretty central to most things in Castellon, it feels like your 10 minutes away from the train station, the main street etc. Hotel itself is done out nicely, albeit a bit soulless - the walls are a bit thin and the lift certainly needs updating. But overall a good place to stay.

the guy at the reception was friendly until I came up with my complain, he did not think about doing something that his guests will feel better, he just said: this are the rules! The hotel was modern and clean, but the room was small and smelly.

Wonderful modern hotel

Was very pleasantly surprised by this modern hotel. The rooms had a separate lounge area and were very clean.The reception area was very stylish and we had a very pleasant and reasonable meal. Thought it amazing value.
