  The Parador smells awful. We tried to have breakfast and they said that they did not have space but half the dinning room was empty. They clearly did not want to provide a good service. We are truly sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations.Regarding breakfast, we would like to clarify that our service operates with scheduled time slots, and it is essential to make a prior reservation, as was indicated to you at reception upon arrival.   Always a quality stay

  We stay in Paradores when we can, normally en route to another destination. They are fabulous in terms of quality, service, cleanliness and food without exception. This Parador is a modern one, but the touches of rustic fittings and furniture soften the edges of the modern building.   Very good atmosphere amongst all staff. Dinner service and menu good. Breakfast menu and service excellent. We always enjoy an overnight stay here.   A convenient, yet comfortable stay for a journey to the south. Easy access from the motorway. Friendly staff and good food. Interesting museums in the town.   Convenient place to stop for a few nights

  Hotel is situated on an "island" with a few other buildings surrounded on all sides by main roads and a motorway. These were presumably not all there when the hotel was constructed. Road noise apparent when sitting in grounds, but insulation worked well and sleep not disturbed by noise. Plenty of outdoor parking. Whole hotel seems a bit dated, but rooms comfortable, everywhere very clean, all staff pleasant and helpful, and usual good Parador breakfast and evening meals.Hotel runs east/west, so rooms either face north or south. Rooms at the back overlooking the pool do not get any sun, but rooms at the front have sun all day, so if want to sit on balcony in sun request room at front.Don't bother with Parador's recommendation of nearby "villages" to visit as they are really small towns.
