Don’t bother choosing this hotel for its location, there are plenty of much nicer hotels within easy walking distance of the Mesquita. The hotel is shabby and dated, many of the staff were rude: it’s the sort of place where you have to take 8 glasses off the shelf to find a clean one. Half board dinner is very poor quality - with so many great restaurants in the area it would be a waste of time to eat here. The fire alarm malfunctioned through the night and the air con developed a loud intermittent buzz from about 2am. No sleep. All they offered was 20% off the room for the night and refused to get the manager to discuss. Nasty hotel, nasty staff.

The best-located hotel in Córdoba

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right across from the El Mezquita mosque; you just have to cross the small street to enter the mosque. The Roman Bridge and the Alcázar are five minutes away (though the castle was closed at the time). All of Córdoba’s attractions are within a 10-minute walk of the hotel. There’s no better place to explore Córdoba.I was really worried about whether it would be possible to drive to the hotel, given its location in such a historic area. Well, you can pull up right in front of the hotel, and it has its own—admittedly a bit tight—parking lot. This is also very well organized.The front desk staff is quick and professional; check-in took only a few minutes. We stayed in a junior suite, and our two daughters were in a room nearby, just as we’d requested. The rooms are large and clean, the air conditioning works great—in Córdoba, the thermometer read 55 degrees Celsius (!) in the afternoon under the sun, so we really needed it—and the bathroom is clean and spacious. We had dinner at a small restaurant nearby, so I can’t comment on the hotel’s restaurant.Behind the front desk is a patio where you can sit at the bar in the evening, and breakfast is served there in the morning. It’s very cozy, and it was actually quite cool in the morning, despite the scorching heat that had lasted for weeks. The breakfast meets the expectations of a four-star hotel, with a sufficiently wide selection. The staff knows what they’re doing.Our stay exceeded our expectations, and since we’d stayed at a hotel run by the same company in Granada, we were already expecting a positive experience—and we weren’t disappointed there either.

Despite a bumpy start we all enjoyed our stay at the Eurostar Conquistador in Cordoba. Whilst the rooms were fairly basic, they were totally adequate, clean and comfortable and surprisingly quiet. We both chose to pay slightly extra for rooms facing the Mezquita which was worth it. Breakfast offered a good spread to set you up for the day. The location was perfect, extremely central and great for getting us to all the City's amazing attractions - and being opposite the Mezquita was an incredible experience. The staff were courteous and friendly.

Wonderful hotel right next to the Mosque Cathedral. The Roman ruin inside were rather cool as well.

Excellent Hotel. Superb location!

Very good quality hotel. Room was excellent with a huge bed. Reception staff were very helpful. Location is superb, directly opposite the Mezquita World Heritage Site.
