  Nice hotel with some flaws

  The hotel is located in a quiet area, though a bit far from the city center. Parking was free, which was convenient. The room was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable environment.Unfortunately, the air conditioning did not work properly and only produced hot air, which made the night difficult. Additionally, the soundproofing of the doors was practically nonexistent, so you could hear everything from the hallway.Breakfast was of good quality, although the variety was not the largest.

  A 4 night stay in a very noisy 4 star mediocre hotel in a pretty stting

  We booked for 4 nights 1 family room and 1 double room as we were 4 adults and 2 children. Our initial wish was to book at the Parador across the road but it was fully booked. Given the relatively high prices charged (271 Euros for the family room Saturday night with breakfast!!) our expectations were high. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. The noise levels within the hotel are very high due no doubt to a lack of sound proofing. Other factors which led to our disappointment were 1) Payment upfront upon arrival for the entire stay 2)No utensiles in the room to heat water which which was important for us given the needs of the children. We asked at the reception if a an electric kettle could be made available but with no success. 3) Only one chair per room even in the family room 3) Cafeteria closed as was the case a year earlier at the Exe hotel in Caceres 4) Mediocre and overpriced food served for evening dinner.5) Disgusting coffee served with breakfast. We have stayed in many 4 star hotels in Cordoba over the years but this was by far our worst experience never to be repeated!! On a more positive note the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the parking very convenient. The hotel setting is also quite pretty.

  Great hotel in good location in Cordoba. 10 minutes or so to the Cordoba centre. Plenty of free parking outside, spacious big rooms with a little balcony. Outdoor pool also available for guests. Good service from housekeeping, gave us what we required.

  One of the reasons I chose hotel was it stated it was soundproofed. It most definitely was not. You could here every word from next room and when people walked along corridor the noise from shoes and voices was terrible. Then maids come at 9 o’clock and you can hear everything and if someone moves furniture it was so noisy.
