The hotel is located in a quiet area of the historical area. It has so many unique features. The delicious breakfast is served in a lovely room over exposed roman ruins. They reserve time for you to enjoy the roman baths. Additionally there is a beautiful pool area. We had the tapas dinner in the garden restaurant. It was absolutely delicious and they were careful with my dietary restrictions. The massage was the best I have had in a long time. The room was well appointed and comfortable. Historic hotel has it all.

The hotel is amazing. It is beautiful and historic. There is a gorgeous garden and pool where you can relax and reflect. The rooms have everything you will need in addition to the included Roman baths ( fun!) and generous breakfast in a room whose glass floor overlooks Roman ruins. The location is perfect to walk to cultural, historic and dining and shopping areas, we really cannot say enough, it is just terrific. Palacio del Bailio is a beautiful building sympathetically restored with charming outdoor spaces. Reception, breakfast & pool staff were delightful but there were a few issues. The room smelt and felt damp, it was dark and dingy too. The shower leaked terribly so much that it almost flooded the bathroom floor. Cleanliness was not up to standard with dirt and dust very visible. We booked The Arbequina for dinner and had a lovely meal, however before we had finished our meal the waiter came to ask if we could finish at the drinks area as a couple were waiting to eat, a couple who had not booked a table. I would not expect this from any decent restaurant. Overall there were highs and lows, but with our issues it was not the experience we expected from a 5* hotel. Lovely small hotel

We loved the hotel and pool area. Friendly helpful staff. A wee bit noisy at night. Lovely shaded pool area. Inexpensive good wine provided by the very attentive Sonia and Pablo.
