Nice helpful staff - ideal hotel for a city break

Great staff - very helpful. Room was clean & comfortable & served us well, with mini fridge, air con & safe. Decent bathroom. Nothing fancy but ideal for our needs. Good location for sightseeing - everything within walking distance. Didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment on that. Usefully, hotel had own underground garage parking (payable but worth it) - quite tight but very convenient. Would stay here again.

Lovely s newly refurbished hotel, small but cute. We had a standard room as they had only 2 superiors rooms already booked out. Adequate and quiet. Great breakfast of local produce, warm hospitable staff. Walking distance to both the old town and the commercial centre. Airy terrace when fresh air is needed.

My wife & I were visiting Cordoba on a self drive tour of Southern Spain. Unfortunately we only had one night in Cordoba. In hindsight we would have stayed at least two nights. We chose this hotel for a number of reasons.The reviews were good, it was clean, bright and modern.The hotel was well located and had an underground car parking area. This was chargeable, as is the norm with hotels these days, but it was a reasonable rate compared to public car parks and very convenient. The hotel provided a very good table served breakfast and also had a large roof terrace with table, chairs and umbrellas. There were fridges in the rooms, air conditioning, free wi-fi and a safe, together with the other features on their website.. The windows to the rooms do face into a courtyard, but again, this is the norm for many small hotels in the towns and cities, but the courtyard was large, bright and airy as can be seen on previous photographs. As is so often the case, it was the staff that added to making our stay so pleasant. When I made my booking via Booking.com, I received a whatsapp message from Pedro. It turned out Pedro is the owner and he was so communicative and helpful. He provided many tips for our visit including the best route to arrive at the hotel by car. At breakfast he went around the tables introducing himself and asking the guests if they were in need of anything. As we were checking out, he asked about where we lived ( Yorkshire) and wanted to know more about it, and was searching on Google Earth to learn more with our help. When we left, Pedro helped manoeuvre our car out of the garage for us. He is rightly a very proud of his hotel and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is right for his customers.

Stayed here for one night while visiting Cordoba and the location was spot on, in between new town and historic old... Decent large room with huge bathroom, no frills but was cool for us. Hotel has a modern vibe with a motel feel, roof terrace is fab... Nice staff and the breakfast was amazing.

Off to a poor start when I was assigned a twin room though I had requested a double room at time of booking with hotel.com. Not interested in finger pointing between the two but fortunately was reassigned available double room.Next morning decided to try the continental breakfast. The young waiter who took my order was polite and helpful. Contrary to the reviews here, the selections were restricted and some items I asked for never arrived. There was an older guy/waiter who spoke in Spanish to the young waiter and after this some items never arrived - cereals and additional half slice of toast. You do not get a fruit selection, only fruit in season which was pineapple and water melon. No sign of avocado and no offer of a second cup of coffee or juice. Made me felt like everything is on ration. Overpriced as you can get a very good breakfast in Cano street just behind the hotel for just 6 euros with happy smiles from the proprietor. No need to put up with the older waiter’s unpleasant looks in hotel. The hotel provided a list of restaurant recommendations but the one I tried was disappointing and others looked overpriced. Had better luck with couple of places I found myself. One other point to note for those with back problems who need a firm mattress - the mattress is too soft and doesnt offer good back support. I would not recommend this hotel - look for better hotels elsewhere.P/S junior staff were generally helpful and friendly.
