  Excellent location-really close to everything you have and need to see. Very quiet place, the rooms are clean and tidy. The architectural work is also awesome. The staff is polite, helpful and friendly. Highly recommended, I would definitely stay here again!

  Spotless, charming hotel in the city centre

  Los omeyas is a traditional style hotel in the heart of the city centre. Just minutes from the main attractions the location is heard to beat. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean with a pretty central courtyard above which are the rooms.The rooms themselves are basic, but they are a generous size and the beds are comfortable. The room is very cool which is a welcome relief from the heat. This is a no frills hotel, so don’t expect any extras but excellent for location and price.We would recommend this hotel to others who are travelling on a budget.

  We stayed here for just one night. We were aware there was parking available but couldn’t get hold of anyone by phone for instructions so ended up parking in the Mesquita car park which was fine, however it would be helpful if instructions for their own car park were provided. Staff at check in were quite very matter of fact, verging on unfriendly. A young man corrected us when we were about to use the lift to get to our room on the first floor which can only be accessed by the stair case. However it felt like he shouted at us, actually offering to help with our cases would have been more appropriate. The room was satisfactory, the decor was quite tired, not particularly good bed linen. The two sachets of shower gel provided were inadequate as we both had a shower on arrival as it was so hot, & of course showered the following morning-it felt a little cheap. There were no ‘nice’ touches at all. We didn’t breakfast so can’t comment. However the two slightly more mature gentlemen on the bar and reception the following morning were much more friendly and helpful and moved this from a two star to a three star review.We wouldn’t stay again though.

  I'm amazed that people give good reviews to places and still only give them 3 stars. I found this place online and booked it. After the initial greetings we were checked in easily. It was really heavily raining but still one man took me to the garage which isn't that far away. The breakfast is the usual spanish toast and jam or oil/garlic/tomato which is great the bread (mojete) is excellent. Rooms are clean tidy and comfortable enough. Ppl may think it is small BUT Cordoba centre is small. We will go again they were just great and informative too. Note you can get to the hotel by car but it is a one way street so there is a round about way which if you don't like street about 3 inches wider than your wing mirrors don't try it. Stop by the Mezquita just 20 yards from their door. carry your bags and get them to show you to the garage.

  I didn’t stay because of the Covid19 Virus, but I appreciated the staff's willingness to cancel the reservation and refund the fees paid.I want to return to Cordova as soon as possible and will definitely book my stay in this hotel to thank them personally.
