  My first visit to Lloret and I absolutely loved Alegria. Rooms were super clean. All staff were so kind, friendly and accommodating. The outdoor areas were clean and calm and the pool was always quiet with sunbeds available during the day. We did not eat there so can't comment on that but the local vicinity is fabulous for either snacks, smaller evening meals or something amazing like at Maina restaurant. The beach was literally on the doorstep which was idyllic. Had the best time and have already booked to return next year. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay.

  Great hotel..great location..very close to the beach and all the.pubs,clubs and shops..staff were great and friendly from the cleaning staff to the pool bar staff especially Bianca and Pez who both made my break more enjoyable with their positive and friendly ways..would definitely come here again ??

  Dirty rooms, rude staff, and poor food

  I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel.Our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The hotel was dirty, poorly maintained, and the service was far below what you would expect.The room was incredibly small, with what was advertised as a double bed but was actually only around 130 cm wide. The room itself was poorly finished, and the bathroom had visible black mould. On top of that, there was an ant infestation.The walls are extremely thin, so you can hear almost everything happening in the neighbouring rooms and hallways. It was difficult to get a good night’s sleep because of how noisy the hotel was.The food was also very disappointing. There was very little variety, and almost everything appeared to come from pre-packaged products rather than being freshly prepared. The only fresh items were the eggs and pancakes made by the chef at breakfast.The staff were generally unfriendly, condescending, and unwilling to help. The hotel website states that staff speak English, but in reality communication was extremely difficult because very few employees spoke it. During breakfast, dirty plates were left piling up on tables for a long time before anyone cleared them.One experience in particular made us feel very uncomfortable. We were told that our group of four could not sit at a certain table, only to see a group of three seated there shortly afterwards. Based on the difference in how we were treated, we were left with the impression that we were treated differently because of our skin colour.Another inconvenience was that only one key card is provided per room, which is very impractical when more than one person is staying.The night receptionist was especially rude. One night we returned around 2 a.m. We quietly wished each other goodnight while already whispering, and instead of politely asking us to keep the noise down, the receptionist simply shushed us. This was particularly frustrating because there had been much louder groups making noise outside after midnight without any intervention.Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The hotel was dirty, poorly maintained, the service was unfriendly, and we did not feel welcome. I would not recommend staying here.

  Stayed for a weekend, superb stay. Arrived at 1am, check-in was quick and smooth, rooms are nice and have everything you need.10 minute walk to the centre, bars etc.1 minute walk down to the beach front with bars, restaurants, beautiful.Pool is small but very nice, opens at 9am and we made the mistake of thinking you'd need to be early to get a bed....wrong, beds were empty until 11am, perfect spot to relax.Had breakfast included, was decent.Would absolutely return.Cheers Kajol Lakhuwani, Guest Services / Front Office at Alegria Fenals Mar, responded to this review Dear DingeybabesThank you for choosing our hotel for your weekend getaway and for sharing such encouraging feedback.   Simply put wow what a place.staff exceptional night staf the same.even thought you are a visitor the do above and beyond so your stay works without worry as for the food well im no critic but I know what I like.hands down it beat italy last year.then there is Tommy the bar guru because calling him a barman is an insult.
