  We came for a 40th birthday weekend away, the place is beautiful. The location is spot on as it is central to of the town. The staff were very lovely and friendly, its a 5 min walk to the beach, there is a coffee and bakery shop outside. There was fresh bed change every day and towels, the room was decent and enough for what we needed with a pool view. Reception staff are on 24/7 which was easy for an early check out. The food was lovely especially breakfast! The inclusive food is 11am to 11pm.We had a fantastic time and would definitely come again

  Budget Friendly Comfort

  So initial opinion…dark reception, tired and dated faux black leather furniture with red accents and blinds left us feeling a little nervous BUT the warm welcome from reception eased our worries.Our room, basic but very clean. Large double bed, hanging space and drawers and well equipped bathroom with great powerful shower and toiletries. Only down sides were no mirror in the room so had to de-steam the bathroom mirror to get dressed/put make up on etc and our safe didn’t work, nor did the air con - wasn’t very powerful but we didn’t need it. Balcony overlooked a block of flats but didn’t bother us.We were half board but only ate in the restaurant a couple of times as we wanted to spend time in town but plenty of choice for breakfast with the usual hot and cold options and dinner was average but also pizza, pasta, fries if you didn’t fancy any of the mains. Also, the bar prices - now for a hotel - these were extremely cheap! €5.60 for 2 Beets with dinner and €3.80 for 2x Coffees etc. Really very good choice either way fresh Cocktails and plenty of Spirits.A small indoor entertainment area with music some nights and a pool side area which was pleasant.Now the amazing bit….The Spa! Scab the QR code in the hotel lobby and book via email. €20 for 1 hour in the thermal suite which includes Sauna, Steam Room, Thermal plunge Pool, Cold Showers, Feet Spa and Hydrotherapy pool. We loved our time in here and it’s a must! So very relaxing!All the staff were so very friendly and helpful. There were stag and hen groups in whilst we were visiting so at times it was louder than expected but all just good clean fun. Clientele mixed between couples, families and groups. Pool area is small and doesn’t get much sun due to it overlooked by flats but again not an issue unless your a massive sun worshipper. Beach - 2 beds and a parasol was €30 for the day so you have other options.Town is a 5 minute walk downhill so a small incline walking back up and coaches cannot get to the hotel so drop you a good 5 minutes away, again downhill on way but a feels a bit steep on way back with your cases when going home. (nothing major though if your able bodied).Bus to Tossa Da Mar is 30 mins and €6 return. Bus stop not far from where coach drops you off on arrival or you can get the boat from the beach that is €33 return.Fenals the cove next is quieter but worth a visit and 10 mins in a taxi. Overall a well positioned, budget friendly hotel with great staff and clean rooms. We would book again!

  Do not listen to these reviews we have just got back from 10 nights here it was lovely clean tidy pool area great always lots of sunbeds, we did bed and breakfast had two rooms as one for our daughters right next door to one another the breakfast was great plenty of choice and staff very helpful, perfect location to all around you only down fall no kettle in room but bar staff happy to give u boiling water or buy a kettle from shop €15, also we didn’t have a mirror in our room but girls did but would happily stay again fab hotel

  Lovely hotel enjoyed our stay

  We are a couple ages 40+, we stayed 5 nights B&B, paid £800 total Room upgraded to pool view! Decent size for 2 people, beds comfy! Room was clean, air conditioning good.Breakfast was good, all the usual offerings you would expect - staff were polite, dining room clean just be warned if you eat outside you may get accosted by pigeons. Food wasn’t spectacular but it was decent, I can’t comment on lunch and dinner.Location was good, wasn’t noisy short stroll down hill to old town and beach loads of restaurants and shops. We recommend Casa Mia for pizza ?? Bus station is a 10 min walk, y ou can get a bus to Barcelona which takes an hour - top tip, book your bus ticket in advance as we turned up the morning of, and couldn’t get on….. we ended up getting a bus to the train station then a train that took an hour and a half. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and can find very little fault, baring in mind we only paid £400pp .If you’re looking for a hotel with daily entertainment you won’t find it here but this didn’t bother us.Wish we had tried out the spa and treatments but we didn’t stay long enough…..

  Good Hotel and Great Location

  I was another one that was nervous about this hotel after reading some bad reviews but we were very happy staying at this hotel considering we paid a little over £1,000 for 7 nights and half board.Might not be the best for people with mobility impairments as it’s a 5 minute walk from the coach transfer drop off point but it’s down hill and a nice little walk after 10 hours of travelling. Got checked in and the local tax payment was €27, which I expected it to be more. We stayed in room 501 which faces the street. The room felt clean and modern and beds were made everyday. If you’re a light sleeper, I’d suggest taking ear plugs but we had no issues with noise inside or outside the hotel. The air con wasn’t the most powerful and only works when the balcony door is closed and room key inserted into the power bank beside the door but once it was on it did keep the room cool during the night. Minimum temperature it could be set to was 23 degrees. I’d also suggest keeping the curtain closed as the sun beats in during the morning. The pool area was lovely and we always got sun loungers. The pool was a lovely temperature too and was great to cool off during the 30+ degree heat. Highly recommend trying out the snack menu at the bar, great selection and the cocktails were also great. We ate in the restaurant 3 times in the evening - first night wasn’t the best but as the hotel got busier with guests, the food was better with more selection. Breakfast was also fine. The location is brilliant as it’s only a 5 minute walk away from the beach front with lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Helpful and friendly staff.I would happily stay here again!!
