  Great Value, Lovely Staff and a Great Location — But Definitely Needs Updating

  We had a lovely stay at Tossa Park Apartments and, overall, I think it offers good value for the price.First of all, the staff were absolutely amazing. Ismael, Enrique and Joanna were all incredibly helpful, friendly and welcoming. The night staff were also lovely — the gentleman we met was very friendly and helpful, especially when we arrived late at night.The pool areas were another big positive. Both the outdoor pool area and the indoor pool were very clean and well maintained, with a really nice, relaxed atmosphere. The dim lighting around the indoor pool made it particularly peaceful and relaxing.There isn’t much else available on-site in terms of facilities or entertainment. Drinks and snacks are mainly available from vending machines, which is worth knowing if you arrive late. We arrived at around 1am, so that was basically the only option available. However, there is a local DIA supermarket literally just around the corner, which was very convenient and meant we could easily get anything we needed.The location is actually very nice. It isn’t surrounded by rows of hotels and is more of a mix of apartments and residential areas, which gives it a quieter and more local feel. The surrounding area is pretty and peaceful, while the main town, shops and beach are only a short walk away.Our apartment was very clean overall and a good size. The air conditioning was brilliant, the TV had a great selection of channels and the Wi-Fi worked well most of the time. We also had a lovely large balcony with a nice view. There was a good-sized wardrobe with a mirror, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a basic self-catering stay — a fridge with a freezer compartment, two hobs, a microwave and a kettle. We managed to cook simple meals for three people without any problems.The main downside is that the apartments are definitely quite dated and would benefit from some updating, particularly the bathroom. The tiles are old and there was still some mould, which really needs addressing. That said, we do recognise that the price was very reasonable, and compared with other three-star accommodation we have stayed in, the low price does reflect the standard of the apartment to some extent.The biggest negative for us was definitely the beds. The mattresses were very basic spring mattresses and the bed bases were quite noisy. Every time one of us turned over, the whole bed made noise, which meant we were often waking each other up during the night. The neighbourhood could also be a little noisy in the mornings. Every day at around 5am, the rubbish collection woke us up. Obviously, that’s not the hotel’s fault, but it is something light sleepers may want to be aware of.Overall, Tossa Park is certainly not a fancy or luxurious place, and it is in need of some updating, but the price reflects that. For a reasonably priced, clean and spacious self-catering apartment in a good location, with genuinely lovely staff and nice pool facilities, we felt it was fair value for money. With some investment in the bathrooms and, especially, the beds, it could be a really good place to stay.

  Perfect location, supermarket well stocked next door, the weekly market (Thursday) on the next road at the back, 15 minute stroll to the sea, cafes,Bars Restaurant and smaller shops along the way, Overall fantastic locationThe staff from the Reception,Maintenance, Kiosk ladies to the cleaners all very friendly and welcoming.Nice very large pool, never truly busy before midday. The rooms were okay, basic but generally clean the apartment with the bedroom was overall decent size, just a few small problems, glass screen on the balcony cracked (seemed a few like this) aircon worked well, although didn't need it much, Beds I found firm but thats a personal preference, received a Toaster and kettle (free) from reception. very basic kitch utensils not too many pans etc, this will vary on the studio/apartment the Kiosk near the pool bar was handy drinks cocktails and soft drinks, vending machine inside for coffees hot chocolate etc and snacks (crisps,chocolate) there is a big cafe area inside, which I think is under used and small area with pool table, air hockey. outside area - table tennis, boules, badminton.Room noise from the other guests wasn't too bad, but a few like to talk/shout on the Balconies not good when enjoying the nightly peace and reading, overall it is a quiet residential area.The pool is quite large so any young children around should be watched at all times!overall a pleasant stay, would we return...perhaps. One of the best things is the Location perfect to be away from the centre and busy beach area but still close enough.

  Lovely staff, clean and well maintained pool area. Unfortunately, there was a lot of noise from adjoining rooms. Also, unfortunate that the small kiosk serving drinks and small snacks was open no later than 7pm. Although the apartments were value for money, I probably wouldn't stay there again because of the noise.

  Just back from 4 nights here seriously needs a lot of updating everything is so old & broken it’s a pity because it’s a nice location near nice bars, supermarket, pharmacy etc & could have a lot going for it with a bit of renovation we’ve stayed in same price apartments of much higher standard & in this day & age it really isn’t good enough & I’m being generous so sorry I’ve never had to give a bad review & I have read reviews before going & the management replies with we are taking your feedback into consideration but seriously stop considering & start acting GHT Hotels, Atención al cliente/recepción at GHT Tossa Park Aparthotel, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your feedback about Aparthotel GHT Tossa Park.   Be prepared for a BUDGET hotel.

  We go budget every year at the end of August. Talking under £2,000 for two adults and two children self catering for 10 days. The transfer from Barcelona airport took 4 hours. Asked for £100 deposit on arrival and £27 Spain tax. Room basic - had to ask for kettle and toaster. On day 7 and not seen a cleaner yet. Taken all our rubbish to local bins. Unlucky with our room as we have one of only 3/4 rooms that has no pool view. Didn’t realise we could reserve before arrival. Hotel is well situated - about 10 minutes from seafront. Supermarket two minutes away. Pool area is nice. No entertainment at all. Only has a tiny pool kiosk (not a bar) that shuts early. Everything was locked up at 8pm so felt a bit like a prison.No hot food available at all. The hotel looks a lot better on website photos. Wouldn’t stay here again. We’ve had similar holidays in Tenerife and Turkey for the same price that were vastly superior considering the longer flights to both other destinations. The staff who we did encounter were helpful and very nice. Unless your children are happy with just a swimming pool I would not suggest for families. We traveled as two adults and two autistic teenagers in one room. One bedroom and sofa beds.
