  Comfortable hotel with excellent views, large balconies, and spacoius rooms. Close to the beach and the local shops. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, tidy everywhere. No aircon.   Basic but great value & lovely staff

  Stayed here for a friends wedding in Blanes. I know some reviews seem negative. Yes there is a hill but with a couple minutes research online you would know that. Yes it’s a little dated but overall it’s a perfectly fine hotel and a great location. 5 minutes walk down the hill and to the left is the old town and massive beach. Rooms were clean and good sized. A little strange you have to dress your bed but it’s only two sheets and a pillow case so no big deal! Pool small but deep and good for chilling after a day at the beach. All staff were lovely and very helpful. Pros- proximity to old town, bars, restaurants, beach, great staff. Cons - main issue I had was the water pressure in the shower!! I don’t mind the having to dress the bed, the hill, empty the trash etc - all eccentric but then you pay for what you get. I got a good price and I had a great time. Yes if you got kids or elderly perhaps give it a miss but if you’re chilled out and take it for what it is then it’s a lovely spot. Would recommend it.

  Not bad..... but not great either

  1st of all I have to mention IF YOUR TRAVELLING WITH THE ELDERLY OR KIDS THIS IS NOT THE PLACE this hotel is situated on a hill When we arrived here we was dropped off at the bottom of the hill and was told we must walk up 100 or so yds to get to reception Our transfer picked us up at 2.30am... YES AM from the same place it's very quiet at that time you don't want to be waiting around by yourself If you have walking problems this hotel is not for you Beach is down the hill 2 mins away no sand it's all like gravel Loads of red ants so be careful We arrived to hotel at 10pm we had to pay a €120 deposit which you get back when you leave if your apartment is cleaned up meaning no rubbish no dirt etc etc We also had to pay late check in fee (ridiculous) Local area is nice loads of shops which close at 1pm and open again at 5pm (Oct) mainly Spanish tho Hardly any souvenir shops loads of dessert places.English is not a common language so it's quite hard to communicate Hotel staff were ok the lady at receptionist was just plain rude I asked her at 1 point if she could order some kebabs on my behalf and she turned around and said no!! Food in hotel looked ok but it's nothing special OUR ROOM HAD NO HEATING THERE DOESN'T SEEM TO BE ANY RADIATORS If you decide to go to the botanical gdns get a ride Everything is on hills Boat ride was nice with the kids didn't see anything through the glass window thoSwimming pool is very deep as it's quite small Lots of shops at bottom off the hill to the left Supermarket, kebab shop, pharmacy restaurants etc A few shops if you take a left out of hotel and walk uphill supermarket fruit shop Tabacco shop pharmacy.

  Horrible apartment

  I went here for 2 week with my husband and 3 children. When we go here at 4.00 in the morning we was dropped of at the bottom of the hill and had to work up a very Steep hill with all our cases went into the reception and the manager said sorry your apartment not ready as you can imagine I was not happy my children were very tried we had to get taxi to another for the night it was like a prison just horrible. When we got back to the apartment the next day the room not to bad basic but there no kettle or toasted and they don't have a Enough to go around there was ants in my apartment staff are not happy rude there was one lady who went out of her way to help us she was just amazing glad she was there. As for the the area she. You go down the hill go right not left as left Spain old town and the Spain people so rude and clearly don't want you there at all it's like they got apartment and put it on a Spain town there are some nice pub to eat texa pub and shamrock pub the bested I would not go back to these apartment if you payed me

  First - swimming pool. He is very small , not even average size and same time it is very deep. Starts from 90 cm and finish 2.10 cm. Kids small pool ok 60 cm, but there no steps. It was challenge for me get out of this. Actually i used thus pool only once. Apartments look nice and modern overall. But very squeaky beds. Metal tiny frame. I couldn't sleep properly there at all. Always woke up during night. Other moment modern sink in bathroom. Looks nice and modern first. But tap situated so low level from sink base. Impossible even wash your swimsuit from salty water. Shower very good and spacious. Balcony doors i couldn't open by myself.They are very squicky too. Only my husband did it. Balcony not private at all. Although hotel have some room with more privacy. Pillowcases were like joke. 10 cm shorter than pillows. Location good. Lots playgrounds nearby. Best beach for kids opposite old town near port. Opposite big playground. Great view from big balcony. Second floor (english). Staff ask my husband clean frying pan more properly. When we moved in and paid deposit receptionist told what it will back if everything clean. It confused us a lot. Because usually it is breakable deposit. Actually they expect see and some cleaning after you. Check out very early 10am. And don't forget clean!
