  Good location on a great beach within easy reach of the best of the Costa Brava

  Apartments are fine. Furniture basic but satisfactory. Kitchen a bit limited but again - it did ok. Internet signal weak and intermittent. Had problems with Electronic keys every day throughout the stay. Nice size swimming pool well looked after but unheated and at the end of the September too cold to swim in. In general a bit dated but good for a family holiday.

  The apartments claim to have free parking, gym, tennis courts, free for young children, bar and restaurant.Parking is free on the road but impossible to get a space, so its 14e per day on site.The gym and tennis courts are at the hotel next door and you have to pay to use.Cots cost 5e per day, not free at all.

  Nice beach location, bare minimum rooms

  Hopefully while you stay in this hotel, you'll spend most of the time on the beach, which is right outside the window. Rooms are clear but they are a very bare minimum type. However, there are some ants crawling in the corners. The area is quite nice, the beach, and walking paths around. And if you go before peak season, the prices are very reasonable.

  Great Beach Location, Everything Else 2 Star Quality

  I rented a 2-bedroom/2Bathroom apartment in mid-April 2014 for my family (wife and infant). The location right on the beach, with Sea views was fantastic. The apartment was quite large and the offseason price of 95 euro per night was very reasonable. Because the price was low, my expectations are in check. But overall, the room quality was at best 2 stars. All of the infrastructure was bare bones. Doors that do not block any noise. Lumpy beds. Very basic bathrooms. Even with the low price and nice location, I would not stay here again. I'd prefer to pay a bit more and stay in an apartment that I can feel comfortable spending some time in. Also, the staff were friendly, but not at all helpful. Offering no suggestions when asked about places to eat or visit.

  70's style apartment, but right on the beach

  We were here june 2011. When we first entered the apartment, we actually had to laugh a bit, cause it looked like we went 30 or 40 years back with a time machine instead of the elevator. though it was clean, it looked old and could use an update. The balcony, from which you have a great sunrise-experience, is nice. The location is great, right on the beach. Cause the (high/ mid?) season hadn't started yet, the restaurant was still closed and beds/parasols were only set up just before we left. It was quite cold & windy when we were in Pals, so we sometimes preferred the swimming pool instead of the beach. Was nice, but cold. The apartments are at a dead end road, a 5/10 minute drive from 'busy Pals'. Something we actually liked, cause it's kinda quiet. But a car is quite essential. It's really nice to explore the area. The old town of pals is beautiful. All in all, okay - when the sun's with you.
