Location

Located just 150 m from the beach and with access to one of the most beautiful coves of the Costa Brava, ‘Cala de la Bella Dona’, the hotel enjoys truly singular surroundings. Only 800 m from the centre of Platja d'Aro, it is the ideal place to rest and enjoy a family or couple holiday, far from the hustle and bustle, and close to the commercial and leisure parts of the town centre. Barcelona airport is 120 km and Gerona airport 40 km away.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 167 apartments located in two 3-storey buildings with lifts. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Good enough for a school trip

    had a room for 4 and it had 2 single beds put together and a sofa bed.Food there is average , ate chips and pasta everyday and for breakfast has good enough range of pastries. However one of my friends was on the balcony and a chunk of the ceiling fell down and hit her head and she was in severe pain.Roofs/ceiling are all cracked so be careful where your walking!!

    Staff were very pleasant to deal with. The accommodation is poor. Very dated. Pity as this place has huge potential if they updated the common areas and apartments. Location is ideal to the town. I wouldn’t recommend. Young persons resorts

    Service was fantastic. Great location. Walking distance to nice beaches and the Playa de Aro town. But it is in a tranquil environment surround by pine trees. We loved the swimming pool. My family really enjoyed our stay. Great for families with kids.

    Lovely staff however, the food is awful, the beds are uncomfortable, you can’t wash up a few plates and hope to have enough hot water for a shower and you hear everything your neighbours are doing through the paper-thin walls. Much better value and quality to be had elsewhere. PS: The 2 stars are out of pitty, 1 star would reflect our experience

    Very good front desk staff - phoned 1 hour before I arrived to make me feel welcome. Checking in and our are super smooth processes. Everything else kind of falls apart at some level. The flat needed sweeping and mopping by myself on first entry, not a good idea as I arrived midnight. The aircon took some time to activate - the plug was unplugged and behind the sofa. The aircon's external part on my balcony takes care of multiple apartments and was very noisy, sounding like a motorcycle. The hotel organized singing shows every night until late with very loud music. The bathroom is a bit smelly and there is no cleaner or deodorizer available to dispell the smell. By the way, if you want to travel from/to Barcelona airport, the cheapest way is by bus at Platja d'Aro centre Sarfa bus station. Do not attempt to use the closest Sarfa stop as buses might be full and you miss your flight. Also buy tickets before travel, ideally one day before, to secure seats. Taxi to the town centre bus stop is easy/cheap.
